My old wheels went to a new owner today ( thanks James for doing the spannering) she now looks like this. Not seen her like that for quite some time James turned up in a nice SWB Slick top he just bought and a very nice it was too and looked great with its new wheels on too.

I agree Si your work speaks for itself. I don't need to tell you that as you grow you need to keep the overheads low and business premises is a sure fire way to screw things up. I used to run my engineering design consultancy from home and it never affected my reputation with my customers. If you feel you need a "Shop Front" then look at your local small business start up centres that can give you and address and manned phone number that diverts to you at home. And if you feel that premissis is the way to get the business stuff out of your house these incubators have units at very low flexible rental for couple of years.

As Gary said it was the least I could do and it was not only an honour to be there but to be named in the service itself knocked me sideways for sure. The number of people who asked about Zebedee was amazing the tales they told about their connection to Mandy and the car and their memories. The service was lovely and a fitting tribute and great to learn some more about Mandy that I never knew, that smiling girl so quick to greet you with her friendly smile and manner, I will miss her a lot. As far as Zebedee goes, well he just had to be there and I would have bent space and time to make it happen.

Well today was and emotional one for sure but bathed in glorious sunshine Mandy got a fantastic send off. I spoke with Mandys mum and told her that people from all over the country sent their messages of condolence. A number of people spoke to me of stories about Mandy and zebedee and thanked me for bringing the car. In all it was an honour to be involved as the car clearly meant a lot to many of Mandys friends and family just as it did to Mandy herself. Having re washed Zeb and spending an hour with the detail spray I made sure he was as well presented as he could be.

It's Mandys Funeral this Wednesday 25th it will start in Alkrington near Middleton, Manchester. Blackley crematorium. Meeting up at the victoria pub on hollinwood avenue. Used to be the bower. If you would like to come and pay your respects then please do so. Starting at the funeral home at 1.30pm so later on at the Crematorium ill post more accurate times later. I've been asked by the family to drive zebedee with the limos so he's taking part and on behalf of the club I've ordered a nice wreath of cream roses and purple iris with a purple ribbon bearing 300zx in gold letters. Mandys going to get a great send off I'm sure.

Yes its going to be an emotional day I'm humbled to be representing everyone and indeed Si I would have attended regardless of zebedee but he too has an important part to play on the day and I'm only too happy to oblige.

Gave zebedee a 1st pass clean before he attends Mandys funeral on Wednesday. Just some trim black to apply now and if I can get under the back bumper ill give the Veilside evo back boxes a good polish too.
