Although times it by two and add in the fact that you can't actually reach anything on a zed unless you have hands like ET.

Fully agree, much more fun for your money. Its hard not to want to always go faster though!

If I bought another I reckon I'd still go for a targa. The zed is too big and heavy to run as a track car unless you do a complete 'slickpete' on it, and eats tyres, brakes and every other consumable for breakfast faster than a lighter more track orientated car. May as well just take the roof off kick back and enjoy the speed and comfort! There's always something faster or more nimble no matter what you drive, not that it should stop you having a go..... :)

I don't know much about those either, except the SAFC fine tunes the mixture. I don't think it was running lean though? I'm sure Thor did a relatively safe map and set up of it all. It would be a good idea to get them to look at it again. I'm not sure you'll need them but I've got two o2 sensors if you do, one looks brand new and not sure about the other. I can get Alicia to bring them down with her next time if you want.

Might try to get along for a chin wag as well wozzer. Just need to change my brakes and oil and move house! hopefully jacks300 can get along as well.

Can't say it surprises me, its all the chavs that have caused the problem. They just drive like tits and do the popping exhaust fiesta/corsa thing! Its why I didn't go back, too much police attention for the yellow banana.

Is this for real? I've not heard it anywhere else. J-tuner IMO is the best car mag out there. Its one of the few that actually promote some kind of common sense and encourages people to learn about their cars and enjoy driving. All the others just have '2million bhp massive turbo that has never seen a track' cars. J-tuner reguarly has proper enthusiast car features and not just headline grabbers. Plus they make an effort to get real people in the mag and not just expensive tuning house cars. I'll be well gutted if its dis-continued. When was the last time a Zed feature to match the brunters thrash was in any of the other mags? I missed this thread Mac. They are stunning mate. I was going to do a course with a falconer down in Dorset a year or two back. Its awesome flying them, I love watching them. In the end I went for something more cuddly and practical, Molly my macaw :) I'd definitely like to get into falconary one day though. Me and the missus were talking about doing it on horse back (she works with horses). Heres a shot of Molly: I'm planning on free-flying Molly one day. Its not the same as with rapters because parrots arn't so food orientated but there are people that do it successfully. She still has clipped wings from her previous owners but I'm letting them grow back and working on recall training. She goes pretty much everywhere with me, gets lots of attention :dance:

Maybe if he'd done a couple of 30minute lessons and got a laminated certificate in 'jet car driving' then the critics would have been happy?! FFS what training can you do in a jet-car? The guy is a professional driver anyhow, there's not much else you can do is there? I'm sure he got shown enough to feel comfortable. It does my head in that people say he shouldn't have been there in the first place and have the police involved,etc. Its free spirit to have a go at things like this, try to crack the land speed record, go one step furthur etc. Good on him I say, gutted it went wrong. Life life to the full. I'm chuffed to see he's making steps to recovering.

Hi Mark, Hope the car gets up and running at last tomorrow so you can enjoy it. I don't think there's any problem with the alternator, its probably just the alarm where the cars been standing for a while. The alternator charged that battery from flat in no time at all when we swapped it with TonyC at Japshow. Dave

I didn't look very hard but I didn't see the cameras on the M25? The ones on the gantries on the Sw side between Gatwick and Heathrow. Are they still there?
