I notice that quite a few of the tuned zeds have their aircon removed. why not install some ducting pipes that would redirect ice cold air into the engine bay or around the intercoolers at the flick of a switch - is this possible?

Any ideas chaps?? came back to the zed after watching the travesty of Superman returns - tried flicking on headlights but noresponse - turning the switch on just gives me full beams. Check the fuse in the dreivers footwell and its blown. I replaced it twice but it blows immediately each time. So where do i go from here to get things sorted?

ive seen quite a few "pale " yellow numberplates on the back of Beemers - the yellow is so pale they are almost silver backing and look good on a grey black or silver car.

sorry to hear this Richie - sounds like exactly the same thing that has been happenbing to mine - replaced the ptu but didnt help. Car currently undergoing TLC as the timi9ng belt has given way and buggered up 3 vavles but i suspect when i get it back it will keep cutting out again.

couldnt be the cam belt could it? If you pull back the cambelt cover just a smidgeon you should be able to see if it moves round a bit when youtry to start the engine

you can now get cheap tomtom 500s as they are being replaced by the 501 which is widescreen, updates position superquick and has an inbuilt camera database. i got mine for £340 - you will find it pays for itself as it saves you huge amounts of time when you are driving!!

And what if you found there was a problem with one turbo anyway? engine out job to replace and you would most likely replace the other at the same time anyway as it would likely be on its last legs too - so what would the advantage be?

Look mate , save your money by spending the cash you had earmarked on the boost guage for a specialist opinion on what is wrong. So youve got decreased boost - what are yougoing to do then? you will still have to work through a million things that could be wrong and even if you find someting are you gonna have any money to fix it?? You are best off letting someone who knows their onions try out your zed - they will be able to tell you if its slower than it should be.

Smithy what is the difference between the DBa discs and the 350z ones mate? Also im completely non-mechanically minded so do you have any idea how much it would be to fit your big brake kit once purchased?

Nissan300; why did you opt for the 350z discs over, for example, the DBA discs? Is there a big difference?

Hey dudes, anyone know where i could get some anti dazzle side mirror film BMW style? As the Z is so low im always getting dazzled by headlights and also they look with a silver car!!

just had a thought - what could the problem be if i have a series II PTU already fitted? (not able to check for a couple of days as it is parked up 200 miles away!) Any ideas anyone?
