ok, leak fixed. i removed the targa panel. and where the rubber corner section is which sits just by the A pillar and drainage hole,i unscrewed the screw which goes into the A plillar top end and stuck some black roof gutter sealant under the rubber. leak now fixed! Next issue. stuck some fuel in and took her for a quick spin. my boost controller is set to low and about half way on the tuning dial. i dont usually mess with this but i turned it up a notch or two. was running ok and then it went all lumpy ( while driving) turned it back down and parked up with engine running. the lumpyness went so i just left it for a bit and then it came back. i replaced the fuel filter about 4 months ago and the plugs and had all the vac hoses replaced. i also check the coil packs where fixed as sometimes they become loose. any idea's what this could be? could it be bad fuel? i always try to use V power or something similar but on this occasion i used high octane which is only around 97-98 i believe.

Hi, hope you've all had a great christmas, Ive posted this issue before and i just wanna make sure before i buy from MJP im not buying something i dont atually need. My car leaks from the targas although ive checked drainage and all seems fine its coming in from where the targa roof meets the A pillar and dripping on the bolsters nearest to the doors on both sides. i have replaced the actual roof rubbers which go around the top of the targa and down the door pillar but still doesnt make any difference. I was wondering if the actual targa part has a rubber seal? or is it that i need the actual rubber seal that goes round the top of the door? and down the A pillar? im hoping that i just have to replace the seal where it runns along the top of the window which is the targa? lol confusing or what

Hi ive come to the conclusion that I require new targa rubbers and possibly door rubbers as no matter what I try the car still leaks ive tried used targa rubbers off ebay and they just leak the same my main concern is the leak by the ecu although being dripped on while driving is bearable I may as well sorr that too so where can I buy a new set of targa rubbers and new rubber door sections? Hi people Ive discovered that my steering wheel turns left and right. lol what i mean is that shifts from left to right theres no steering adjustment option, so i removed the panel below the steering wheel to access the steering column there seems to be a plate side on going across the column with a bolt. the bolt seems tight, and while moving the wheel in a left to right motion you can the the column moving side to side. does anyone have any info on this? is it meant to move sideways a little?

Hi again I have a problem with a leak its coming from the passenger side just below the ecu (floor) collecting just in front on the foot well. Ive noticed its dripping by the panel which looks to hold the flare? I have removed this panel and tried various methods of fault finding also ive checked all drain holes with targa's off ive poored water down each drain hole and it all comes out at the bottom of the car, so it cant be drain holes or pipes, I have also removed the rubber section which screws into the top of the A pillar and sealed with silicone still got the problem is there anyway water can get in from behind the battery tray? Hi, good evening all Only just noctied this but maybe ive moved something to make this happen i do not know, on my auto box i have a switch which has Hold and Power , i dont bother with it, but what i have noticed is that when i put my foot down the power light lights up on the right of my dash, is this normal? or not? Secondly, im not sure if anyone here can help me with this, but i may as well ask, ive probably had my zed for over a year now, and although it did come with a shed load of service history and paperwork, i called zedworld seeing as that most of the work had been done there, i wanted to know if they could confirm what work had been done on my car, in fact i called twice both times they said they would call me back. but i never got a call back, maybe they were busy i dont know. But ive this feeling that they didnt want to call back , or maybe the cars history is all false? who knows... ... does anyone here work at zedworld??

Thanks for the input groover, at first i thought it was gearbox but when i noticed the noise while idle and it goes after about 2 miles i thought maybe alternator,, ill have a look tomorow. thank you all for your help been fab ;)

ok will do, the reason im gonna have to upload this is cos ive spent the last 2 hours trying to get this diagnostic thing to work, i have no A/T light anywhere on the car whatsoever, so i cant read any codes even if i did do the procedure correctly..
