Bit more progress today, drivers side cams back in with new seals, exhaust cover is a real pig to get in with the EGR pipe in the way.

Exhaust lifters cleaned and back in, rear 2 were very spongy. Cam has some scratches on the front. Fuel injectors cleaned ready for new seals.

Worth a check are your wheels standard or aftermarket, check fitment and spigot rings, if needed.

Hi where do you feel the vibration, front floor, middle, steering, break pedal, any noises.

Managed to get down to the garage yesterday, got the other inlet cam out and clean the lifters, taking longer than I expected. Have ordered some new spark plugs as well.

Do you think they do it on purpose normal diesel should be first as the unleaded is.Hi my brother came over had nice weekend in Snowdonia last weekend, then he gave me the flu before flying home, so today is the first time I have been well enough to get back to the car. Decided it was time to clean the lifters, they have always ticked. They were very dirty Inlet cam Would have liked to get more done but that’s it for now. Do I use just oil for cam or assembly grease. Thanks.
Lucky escape, new cars can cost £1000’s if wrong fuel is put in.
