Thats gone over half way fella and bottom end is fooked. if your willing to replace the engine rest of the car seems in good nick. I was keeping an eye on that myself.

I had similar check that you have ALL the connectors in the right places as i had the wrong injectors with the wrong coil packs on mine. it will be something simple I bet. when you switch over the coil pack do the injector at the same time. also check the injectors do a continuety test on them you want between 10 & 14 Ohms just incase you have a duff injector. you could also pull the fuel pump fuse on the pass side fuse box and disconnect all the injectors and test one at a time to make sure there clicking correctly. try swapping the spark plugs over also

ive seen a few people put some tough foam between then the pipe and the anti roll bar and cable tie together before, but im not sure thats a good idea or not.

With all the ball ache and hassle Ive had of getting my car to where she is now, No chance id be happy to just buy drive and enjoy.

Following on from my "Whats it worth thread", I wondered what kinda money people have thrown at a 20yr old car, I know as with any enthusiasts car there instant money pits, And ive come to the conclusion im never buying a project again!!! Without including the cost of the car or general service items ive had a tally up today and im at £14,885 since October 09. I know ive prob missed stuff aswell. Christ you can pick up a complete modded car now for half that. So why do we bother??????? I know its all down to personal circumstances on what people can afford but are we nuts or what??? Just wondering what other peoples thoughts were? Craig

good luck fella, just dont do what i did and put the bloody fuel rail back in the wrong way round :( lol Do the water bypass at the same time makes removing the plenum so much easier next time.
