iirc there is a drain on the pass side of the block. when you refill rais the front of the car as high as poss this should help get rid of the air locks and help with the frothing prob

Give Malcolm a call at Koi Water Garden 01844 342 390 he has some stunning ponds and used a concrete render with green fibres in and its bloody good stuff very strong and when sealed properly great with fish, hes a koi breader and all his ponds are done with this stuff and he has some stunning fish

Allan you wet shave or use an electric razor?? I used to get this years ago as my skin really didnt like a wet shave, been using electric shavers for years now and never had any more probs. Granted you dont get as close a shave but I can deal with the trade off against skit irritations.

Well said Gary I really hope we can keep this thread going and really start to build some bridges between the sites. Gary I did pop you a PM the other day (you havent responed lol) if you fancy a chat fella let me know as it really would be great if we can build something between the sites. And to set the record straight just incase anyone wonders my loyalties are with the members of both clubs and ill work hard towards promoting growth on both sites. I hope and dont want anyone to think im trying to be detromental in the running of either site.

I understand completely fella and I very much understand where your coming from, Can I suggest it might be worth having a chat with the admins of the other site as they are genuine in there interest of inter club co operation and the creation of the site was in response to the previous owners leaving the site to die a horrible death so with the best of intentions they tried to slavage something from the chaos left by the previous administration. They have been very honest about the clubs formation and have stated in there orignal opening threads that if anyone is not happy with there old posts and ifo being on the open forum they will happily remove it. They really have gone to great lengths to try an salvage whatever they could of the forum spirit. Hence why now the club is trying to work hard to build bridges and ties with this club as between the 2 sites we have the best group of z enthusiasts out there. maybe the creation of a club liason office or something like that would help to bring the 2 communities closer and work on creating some great events and banter and help forward the z cause :) I hope this club will look to the future and embrace some change other wise it risks loosing more members and going the way of many other other now extinct species. between the 2 sites there is really some great opportunities to really revive the 300zx. Gary just reading through the link, Seeing as the other club has no affiliation with Zclub or the previous banned owners and is now completely independant of them and actually run by current subscribed members on here, was the link removal really nessesary?? It seems to me that certain mods need moderating for inciting forum unrest according to the clubs own AUP. Seems most of the issues seem to come from the moderation team? The other club would love nothing more then to work very closely with this forum and all its members and admin alike to promote healthy growth of a great community and to bring forward some great events and meets. If certain keyboard warriors do not wish to leave the comfort of there desk then so be it, however I think you will find over 95% of the membershi are all for more meets more events and more great community spirit. just my 2P I hope its taken in the right context of pushing for more co-operation and furthering the cause of the 300zx enthusiast.

I agree Gary very much so, but it seems the main site is loosing popularity due to people not being open minded and embracing some change and communicating new ideas, I hope this is something that will change in the future. for the sake of all the enthusiasts on all the zed sites, as ive never met such a great group of like minded people then on the z community. Its just a shame that change is not embraced and unfortunately from speaking to many people that its like an us against them between the users and the admins. i do hope this can be addressed and we can all enjoy many more years of meets gatherings and great forum banter.

The other site you mention has done nothng but try to work with all other jap car sites including this site, Im also a REO on the other site and am working hard to organise joing meets between all the sites, As Jimmer said before we are all here because of the passion we have for our cars not some of the imature people who frequent some sites, And if any of the clubs are going to survive we have to promote co operation and have some fun with these cars and joint meets, With Zed numbers dwindling and owners becoming fractured on various sites we have to work hard to pull the sites together and only by having an open mind and trying to work on co operation is this going to happen.

I wouldnt bother with tail gate tub only becomes a pond in the rain unless your are going to make some drainage ways which is difficult, havent seen one of these fitted yet that looks good tbh.
