Well lets not go down that path we want this thread to keep going with positive suggestions, I think the comittee is going to have alot to talk about anyway.

Fair point, Just saying its been highlighted that the current funds wouldnt last long if too many major events where organised and subsidied so an alternative solution would be to restructure the subscription and benefits to help with the funding!

Could even add an extra tier of membership with a few more benefits, could include exclusive use of brokebacks hat etc (Kidding) :alucard::tt2: something like £20 Standard membership £30 Premium membership etc with extra benefits to be discussed/decided??

Ok so maybe one for the commitee on funds allocation, personally this site has saved me thousands of £££ im not kidding so I really wouldnt have any probs at paying £25-£30 for membership as long as the money was being well spent on raising the profile of the club and getting its members out to meets!! if the subscription was raised a little surely this would allow to keep a more realistic bank balance aswell as provide more club events and further the promotion of our club and cars??

Ok dont kill me but only an idea and One i would be prepaired to do myself. What if the club organised an event (type of event could be anything Dyno day group BBQ drift day etc etc) but charged a fee say a fiver to attend, Now depending on how many people signed up and payed would depend on the size of event? at least when you pay for a ticket you tend to actually go! not sure if it would work but hey worth suggesting.

Fair point Andy, With comittee approval Id be happy to contact some sites and make some enquiries into getting plates made? if its only a hook on job while the car is statioanry at a show would it make a lot of difference on size??? We could just have 2 sizes standard UK for non modded cars and a slightly smaller for modded? Or something to that effect would make it so much easier to find out who owns what. Or even a standard template that people could add info too print off and put in their windows, giving mods etc a little like alot of our ride pages, this wouldnt cost anything then? what does everyone think??

I never knew we could apply for funding?? I think the Reo's do need to be more pro-active and organised especially myself, Could we not have a seperate Reo section on the forum where we can discuss events and organise regional and multi regional events??

I also think the Reo's need to give more support to the Neo (Ian) at large events like JAE we are all event organisers so it seems very unfair of us to leave the biggest event of the year down to just Ian to organise. Pooling the reo's support would help make larger events even better and relieve some time and pressure off Ian to persue other events during the year.

Could see if our traders would put up prizes for stuff say best mod write up or car of the month, or something like that?? Ive seen it done on other forums with great success.

Good idea but think how much it takes all of us and costs to maintain our own cars whos gonna be prepaired to do it? where will it be kept, then theres MOT tax insurance etc I dont think logistacally it would make sense and why have 1 forum zed when we have hundreds already as every owner here represents the forum. just my 2P

This Club has the potential to be fantastic and for the most part i think it really is, been on so many forums that are bloody awful compared to this, I reckon with a little more support from its members actually helping the mods/comttee etc do the job theyve taken on for FREE!! We can really bring the 300zx back into the public eye. I didnt even get to JAE this year (Gutted) but from comments and pics I can see it was a bloody good event (gutted again) So hopefully this thread wont turn into another bitching thread but a useful and helpful thread to help push the forum spirit and get our motors noticed more in the Jap scene.

Might be worth having a Reo meeting on a conference call or something as, I know for me as my car has been off the road ive had very little enthusiam for organising anything especially seeing as we seem to have no club support! Hopefully this is a fact we should be able to change, Obviously funds for "Club Events" should not be an issue since we seem to have more then enough funds available. Im at fault for not organising anything so ill pull my finger out aswell but surely we could orgaise alot more then we do.
