The first 15 seconds of this one is brilliant...

one of the most expensive zeds i have seen for sale
I'd say if the body of the car hadn't been ruined, with that build spec there's no reason why it couldn't get that value. But of course.... They've narrowed their market with the bodykit.

Simply japanese 2016!!!
I'll be coming along guys. It's about time I got involved a bit more.
-
If you're going to Simply Jap tomorrow....
I'll be going and probably meeting many of you so while I think of it, if anyone has the following parts, bring them along and we'll talk money... - Series 2 PTU and tails - Top right centre console screw cover - Anything related to hicas deleting - Adjustable front upper camber arms and tension rods. Just thinking it seems a good opportunity to trade a few things back and forth in person while we're all there.

Mercedes
I've got a 2003 Mercedes-Benz S55 Kompressor AMG. F##king immense car! 541bhp 604ft/lb and it sounds like the wrath of Satan.

What did you do to your zed today?
Hard enough getting a hand in there let alone blindly taking some cutters into the cave of wiring loom. Wasn't gonna risk it. But yes, it does bug me. Thanks.

What did you do to your zed today?
Bingo! And damn was that awkward! Back and neck were killing me after. Whole fuse box unplugged and pulled out just to slip the pipe back in and cable tie it for good measure.

Briefly loaded Nissan Datascan Lite with it and it worked.

Conzult/ Datascan
I've just bought the generic ebay one... http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=161373715332&alt=web Comes with the free version of Nissan Consult which is limited but still useful. The full version doesn't cost much anyways. Worked fine for me and has been helpful.

Brake master cylinder brace dimensions.
Give me a week or so and I'll have a proper plan sorted.

OEM or not :-)
It's a photoshopped picture of what a company's new wing could look like inspired by a yellow zed out in the states known as PacmanZ. Have a Google and you'll see what I mean. Yeah, I think it's quite obvious that only track specific cars can pull off wings like this. Certainly not for me.

Brake master cylinder brace dimensions.
Does anyone have a brake master cylinder brace they could get some decent measurements off? I'm looking into getting a metal fabricator mate of mine to make me one. Best I've given him so far is some pictures off Google.

Rad Overflow Tank & Coal Canister Removal??
Bicycle drink bottle with the cage holder. Cut the nozzle off the lid and feed the hose into it to the bottom of the bottle. You can mount it to the back of the front bumper under the nose panel. Out of sight and still easy to get at.

Top Gear Challenge Weekend
Woah! That's crazy expensive!

Top Gear Challenge Weekend
Ah I hadn't realised he was being specific to tax in Ireland. I didn't even consider that it would be different. Think I'll just stick with the ease of mainland. I'm not good with public transport at the best of times.

Top Gear Challenge Weekend
Any specific reason why cars in Ireland will be cheaper? Am I missing something obvious?

Top Gear Challenge Weekend
All good suggestions. So far I've been looking at Merc and jags. I like the idea of an mx5 but I know I'll get a lot of stick for having a "hairdresser's car". I'd considered an mr2 but don't know what it would be like to drift as I've never seen one at drift events etc.

Top Gear Challenge Weekend
Ok so, some friends and I have been doing our own Top Gear style challenge weekends. This coming March will be our third year doing one and the rules for a car are as follows... Must be road legal for no more than £400 and must be rwd. Now obviously being a zed guy I'd love to turn up for the weekend in a zed but in reality I'm not even going to get an NA auto with no MOT for that money. So let's hear some suggestions for potential cars that I can get in budget. Something random would be good. One of the days will include some drift challenges too but I really don't want to get an old e36 beemer. One last thing, if anyone knows of a zed that's potentially within budget I will travel anywhere in the UK to get it. :-D
