  1. I'll get it next time I'm there then decide what to do with it. - - - Updated - - - And the ball vent.
  2. Yeah that sounds about right. Tempted to have it just because it's different and seemingly rare although it's still just as massive as the usual one.
  3. Oh yeah that reminds me, this breaker car also had a different steering wheel. Definitely a zed wheel, looked original but not like anything I've ever seen.
  4. Funnily enough I spotted one on a breaker that I was taking the dash from Saturday. Thought it was a little unusual seeing as my Zed didn't have one.
  5. My sills are 85mm from the ground. To me, that seems just about right. Low but not impractical.
  6. Cheers buddy. Found some more info on a thread when MantaV8 did it but dimensions will def help some more.
  7. I'm gonna revive this thread and ask a few questions... Looking to do this mod but I wanna make sure the bonnet opens nice and high for working on it. Can anyone who's done it give me any details on the length of their strut and possibly a picture showing how much it opens. Cheers.
  8. Anyone else think the drift handbrake is very close to the gearstick? Doesn't look like you'd get into fifth without smacking your thumb!
  9. I'm up for it.
  10. What's the catch?? Surely that's too good to be true otherwise all the car manufacturers would be using them.
  11. Nice! I'd do that myself if my boot struts worked so the release handle up front was any use, lol.
  12. Reverse camera. Hide it by the number plate. Nobody wants people to notice their parking sensors and realise they can't park.
  13. I've only seen a standard digital dash in the USDM Z31.
  14. Have a look on http://www.zcentre.co.uk They got a very nice Drift Iridium setup on there.
  15. I had mine done a few years back. Miss diagnosis (my bad) on a knocking noise. Paid a garage to do it for me with the engine in situ. Don't recall it costing a lot. No problems after.
  16. Seeing that you're newly registered I'll assume you're new to your zed too. This is now your bible...http://www.ttxtz.com/tech.html You'll find the answer to every one of your questions on there.
  17. Give us a shout if you need a hand any time buddy.
  18. That would be the rear top mount!
  19. Fitted coilovers a couple weekends back. Thought it'd be straight forward and simple until it came to accessing the top mounts. Damn does a lot of interior have to come out!
  20. I seen an episode of the American Top Gear where they have to buy "winter beaters" and Tanner Faust gets a zed. Suspiciously though, the front bumper changes back and forth between and NA and TT. Me thinks he stacked it into something in an outtake.
  21. Yeah. :-/ but it looks cool and makes me feel like James Bond.
  22. I got it covered. http://www.speedflip.com
  23. Finally relocated the battery to the boot at the cost of the skin on my knuckles and removed the old rusty battery tray. So much more room for activities! I can get at that damn egr exhaust feed now. Next time the plenum comes off that egr is going in the bin!
