  1. A friend of mine put the main fuse box right next to the ecu. Looks good and keeps the engine bay very tidy. Not only that but it's nice, safe and dry.
  2. Sounds good z32bolt. Where you relocating the fuse box and relay box to?
  3. Too late, mwahaha! Never used it, never even had gas in it and I'm more about taking the t-tops off when it's hot and sunny. Wouldn't even dream of selling it anyways. ;-)
  4. Is that speaking from personal experience or just an idea?
  5. Would it be possible/make more sense to get at that top rear bolt from above?
  6. If I've got any enthusiasm to tackle it tomorrow I will. Got all sorts of other bits I have to get done before the weekend's out.
  7. Argh! That damn compressor! I got it all stripped out except the compressor. Can't get at that top rear bolt! Argh!! That is all.
  8. Yeah, gas all gone. I'd be leaving cab side in place and just cut the pipes at the firewall. I'll have a go this weekend if it's not raining. Annoyingly I'm working at a garage today and right in front of me is 10 axle stands! - - - Updated - - - A Nissan garage no less! lol
  9. I'm a small guy myself and I've managed bits before with the kerb method. You'd be surprised how far I can get under it, lol. So would you say impossible like this or just very tricky?
  10. I've looked everywhere but with no luck. I know removing something doesn't take much technical skill but I'm just wondering about access... I assume I need to get under the car to remove the compressor. Can this be done parked half on a high kerb as right now that's my only option when it comes to getting under my car.
  11. We got the nv200s at work. They suck! Horrible things to drive and way too small for an electrician but the boss wouldn't listen cos they're cheap as chips.
  12. Poole quay? We could all just meet up for a drink one summer evening.
  13. I seem to remember you mentioning this on the forum when you were designing/making it if I'm not mistaken. Good work there!
  14. Got a link for it or was it too long ago?
  15. From the same company? How's the quality?
  16. I'm having some work done on a front bumper for my zed. Included in that is removal of the front plate mounts. Yeah, looks so much smoother without. I think I've found a way round it too. - - - Updated - - - http://www.hidetheplate.com
  17. What lip is that one? Not seen it before.
  18. Loving the dedication to this.
  19. I'm always quick to take my thumbs out from the steering wheel when I'm about the hit something. In my early days of driving I'd always be a plonker on country lanes. First couple knocks left me with hurting thumbs from the wheel suddenly turning. It became second nature since then to move them quick as soon as I feel something is gonna happen.
  20. I'd like it to be accessible to a certain degree. But it can't look like some rough after thought.
