  1. Yeah, I know the procedure for doing it. Done it before on previous cars. Just really know it's gonna be next to impossible! So removing the vac line to it will render it closed permanently right?
  2. Let's keep this one simple... Got the plenum off, was gonna do an egr delete, got the delete kit. Now the issue.... It's an absolute sod and I can't even see the pipe that comes from the manifold (It's a tt) Can I remove the vac line and take a hacksaw to the pipes coming round to the plenum and be done? Am I right in thinking the valve is normally closed? I know purists amongst you will have you opinions but I'm mainly just after a yes or no with this one. I'm only thinking of this lazy way out because I've already bought the delete kit and one of the gaskets for the pipe into the plenum is a bit mashed. Dunno if I wanna risk putting it all back together only to find it's leaking.
  3. And where can I get decent fuel hose from?
  4. Nice one, thanks! No, no leaking as far as I know. I presume I'll be replacing some fuel lines too right? - - - Updated - - - Nice one, thanks! No, no leaking as far as I know. I presume I'll be replacing some fuel lines too right?
  5. I mean more along the lines of materials. This is all new to me so I wanna make sure I've got absolutely everything before I start.
  6. If anyone (hellraiser) wants to be a little help and rack their brains, I could do with a comprehensive list of all stuff I'll need to do a plenum pull, egr blank, pcv change, injector swap and water bypass. Anything else that makes sense too...?
  7. Used the dremel (Dewalt cordless) method before on two of them. Yeah, I could do them all like that but I'm leaning more toward doing the whole thing right seeing as I'll be doing all 6. While I'm at it there's a few other bits I can get at too.
  8. Something for you to consider... Vodafone offer a 20% monthly discount if you or anyone you know works for the MOD or possibly the local council (I know they do in Dorset so I'd assume elsewhere). Using my sister's (she works for Dorset council) payroll number or something I managed about £7 off my monthly bill which helps! Guy in the Vodafone shop told me about it when I was renewing. They don't advertise it but if you ask about it when getting a new contract they'll sort you out. Any MOD/council employee can apply the discount to themselves and 4 other people!
  9. Well I haven't got any of the stuff yet, injectors, O-rings and the other stuff I no doubt need. Think you could spare a weekend day in a few weeks? I'd be more than happy to drive to you of course.
  10. Who wants to help me pull my plenum to swap my injectors when I got some new ones? I've read stuff over and over again but I'm just not confident enough to tackle it on my own. I'll have some cash waiting for anyone keen to help.
  11. You're a legend! It's looking like I still need a damn load more votes!
  12. The huge fat lump of a door piece that (on some Zeds) holds the seatbelt. The whole idea of frameless windows is nice smooth running cean lines. they're supposed to look nice with the door open, not confusing to passers by. Also, looking at the whole Zed series it would seem the Z32s are the only ones without 2/3 small dials to the top of the centre console. It's like a classic Zed trait that skipped a generation.

In the last couple times it's had hundreds turn up and yet I've still been the only Zed. Wanna see some of you guys there this saturday.
