Speed humps and spring damage
When I took my old saph to get a full spax kit fitted, the garage doing the work told ,me it was lucky I was replacing the whole lot as I had 3 snapped springs! I also put it down to the fact that the road I live down has massive speed bumps! My other half has since had 2 snapped springs on her focus, and I smashed the shlt out of my old n/a's original front bumper due to the speed bumps.

I thought mine was broken for a couple of days until I remembered that :)

another blue smoke thread.
Cheers vods. Good, clear and easy to understand info. Think jeff may have to have my car back for a bit to rectify this issue :) If your reading this jeff, what would be the damage to my piggy bank for a job like this, plus cam belt (already got the belt off you on the last visit) and while your at it, water pump?

another blue smoke thread.
If I was to leave it while I saved up for the work to be done (it is my daily driver), what would be the outcome?

another blue smoke thread.
So not the turbos then!? Because that was what I was dreading to be told. Is the valve stem seals a long and expensive job too though?

another blue smoke thread.
As the title states, another blue smoke thread. I have read through some of the previous threads about this but haven't really got anywhere. My issue is.... When I start up from cold I get a little bit of smoke, this continues for about 5 mins of no boost. Once warmed up and boosts for the first time, I see more smoke but then after that its all gone. Is this down to the turbos or something else?

Nice car mate, I do love the pearl white. Welcome to the club.- New to 300ZX ownership
Don't know mate, can't see it :)- FAO Mark Derby
I agree, only bought a couple of bits of him and they arrived within a couple of days! TOP BLOKE!!!- Workshop sunshine
Think mine will be paying you another visit soon mate, still haven't had that cam belt fitted, so might come back so you can do it along with a new water pump :)- dont miss this bargin
Wow! What a bargain, think I'll buy 8! Deals like this don't come around very often :)- I.A.C.V. Air regulator
If they are the same between n/a and tt's then I have one available that I bought of a fellow member a few months back that I just took off my breaker.- I.A.C.V. Air regulator
Surely ( and someone correct me if I'm wrong) if you disconnect it and it doesn't make a difference, that would mean your one is duff. I'm no expert though so see what others say.- new and old ( and 1 very crap )
- Zed is dead
Glad to here your mate is OK, shame about that once stunning Zed.- Any Suggestions ??
I agree could be quite amusing. Even better, advertise it on a porn site as a gay chat or prostitutes number.- Cambelt Kit
No mate, my zed needs it as its on 62000 and no record of a cam belt change. Have a word with jeff at zedworld, he'll sort you out.- Cambelt Kit
I just bought one from jeff, still ain't had it fitted yet though.- Rad issue
If yours is a n/a and your rad does turn out to be duff, I've got a nearly new one available off my breaker. Its already off and ready to go.- anyone cut and fitted vents in there bonnet
Thanks baz, I'd appreciate that, I messaged the seller as soon as you said that but bet I won't get a reply. KIFF, you zed looks stunning mate!- Rad issue
Is it coming from where the top pipe goes into the rad?- anyone cut and fitted vents in there bonnet
It looks like the front wing has been replaced at some point and the wheel on that corner is scuffed but other than that all seems ok. Now you've got me worried! :(- anyone cut and fitted vents in there bonnet
Its not too bad to be fair, it needs the rear of the sills repairing but my mate is going to be doing that in the next couple of weeks. needs a few other small jobs doing like new windscreen, couple of bits of interior trim needs replacing, coil pack connectors replaced etc. But for the price I paid for it, can't really grumble. Just a shame its an auto, but I do still have the gearbox and other parts needed for a conversion from my n/a :)- anyone cut and fitted vents in there bonnet
My new TT has vents in the bonnet, hasn't caused any issues yet. Although still not sure if I like them or not. - New to 300ZX ownership
