  8. Yep - deffo a slicktop... Steve :)
  9. TBH I'd leave as much of the tar on as possible. The 99 lights should come with a layer of the stuff as well (depending on how they were sealed on the last vehicle) and you should end up with a nice even seal. If you still wanted to remove all of the old stuff, I believe some members have used silicone sealant successfully... Nissan actually supply a roll of the tar substance for installing the 99 specs. Not sure how many people have actually received/used this however  HTH Steve :)

  12. They were fitted by one of our Zed specialist garages. I would have hoped that they used new O-rings  Many thanks for the replies fellas  Steve :)
  13. Apexi on mine - very pleased with 'em  TurboXS are apparently louder - not heard them myself though.. Steve :)
  14. No misfiring thank fook - it just stank! Lifted the bonnet and couldn't believe the little jet of fuel which was hitting the underside of the bonnet. Thank fook it didn't spark up  Has anyone else had experienced the "fuel sprinkler" effect so I can confirm it's a dodgy O-ring? Steve :)
  15. I'm guessing this was one of the badly setup systems - http://video.google.nl/videoplay?docid=2365594937767728768 :nono: Steve :)
  16. As some of you already know, one of my new Nismo 555s (front left, cylinder no 2) is pissing fuel all over the engine bay when the fuel pump primes. A couple of questions occur... 1. I estimate that I have driven about 7 miles with the problem. I took it very easy however, as the fuel smell was overpowering. Could I have done any damage to the engine? 2. I am guessing that the problem is a leaky injector O-ring. I assume that it's a plenum off and fuel rail out job to get this sorted. Could it perhaps be a faulty/cracked injector? Any thoughts on this would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance  CheerZ Steve :)
  17. Universal steering rack gaitors make great dust covers. Cost me about £9 for 4 from my local motor factors. I've been very impressed with my setup. Haven't bothered with the camber adjustment yet though. Steve :)
  18. Thanks Martyn  Let me know if you need any help Rodders Steve :)
