  1. Just been out for a test drive and I'm boosting again! Just need to setup the Profec B now and should be in business  CheerZ Steve :)
  2. Found it  First off, supported the bonnet with an appropriate bonnet stay replacement... After much faffing, I discovered that the vacuum pipe from this connector on the plenum had been trapped under my front strut brace tower and had been damaged... Should be able to replace this (if I can find out where it goes  ) and be back in business for Saturday  I also found this connector was unplugged (front left of pass side suspension tower). Is this one of the stock boost solenoid connectors? Steve :)
  3. I only had a quick look today Dave - will have a proper check tomorrow morning
  4. Don't see why not - the time slots aren't completely full yet :) Make sure you find a space above Steve :) *EDIT* I've pencilled myself in for 1-2pm just in case I get the car sorted ;)
  5. Sorry to hear bud - hope you get her sorted :( Steve :)
  6. *GULP* fingers crossed it's off the solenoid  CheerZ Steve :)
  7. Good stuff! I'll be bringing the above times with me on the day, but there will always be room for chopping and changing. Common sense is the name of the game  Steve:)
  8. I work from home most days :D Still not been on much recently as I'm trying to keep as busy as possible :( Steve :)
  9. Thanks for the replies fellas  I've got a boost leak detector but I'm not sure it'll help much as it's hissing away like a goodun anyway when the car is idling. I was just hoping to get an idea of the possible vacuum pipe culprit under there :) I've got a spare plenum in the garage so will take a look at that tomorrow  CheerZ Steve :)
  10. I took the Zed for her 2nd attempt MOT today and she's passed! :D Whilst running to and from the MOT station, I think I found why my new tubs aren't producing any positive boost! I have a huuuge boost leak (constant pssst on idle) which seems to be under the passenger side of the plenum. I'm guessing that a pipe has popped off as the plenum was only recently refitted... Any ideas what pipe this may be and is it likely to be repairable with plenum in place? If I can get this sorted by the weekend, then maybe I can take her to the rolling road day after all  Many thanks for any ideas! CheerZ Steve :)
  11. That would be great bud - many thanks! I'll call you towards the end of the week! Keep 'em coming people  Steve :)
  12. LOL - you may have noticed that I've not voted above :( As it happens therefore, a lift would be mucho appreciated! If you're bringing the Mrs, I'll head down in my daily driver to save cramping in the back :D CheerZ Steve :)
  13. Nice one - keep 'em coming :D

  16. I have booked for 20-25 cars and I've just received this reply from SRR: Hi Steve, We were not expecting so many cars, so i think its best if we start at 10am. Our new site has some rules, which basically mean we can only have 4 cars at any one time directly outside the unit. There is however a large carpark about 50 meters away in which people can park, and walk over to the unit until it is their turn. We have operated this system on all the RR days this year, and it words very well. So, if you could please organise the cars into slots of 1 hour, 4 cars per hour slot. The cars for that particular slot will be outside the unit. Also, could we limit it to 25 cars please. If you could also please pass on this to your members. We are based on an ex MOD base , there is still MOD activity and hence they take their security very seriously. Please do not wander around the base. Please also do not do donuts or speed around the car parks or the site. The security guards will chuck you out if you do, and we have no control over this. The entire site is covered by CCTV, which is monitored,, Including the carparks! Cheers, Charlie. I have set up a poll to reserve start times here. Please make your selection here so we can see who's doing what! This will also allow some members to come along a little later if they want ;) CheerZ Steve :)
  17. Please vote above for the time slot you would like to run in... There are a maximum of 4 cars per slot/hour. Please note that if we do not get 4 cars in a slot, we'll have to move people down to fill the gaps, so please try to fill the earlier slots first unless you have a good reason ;) CheerZ Steve :)
