Plugged RLTC into a laptop after and couple of goes and different cabels I'm certain I have a connection, but..

The unit will not read or write to?

Progress bar gets to about 20% then turns red and says read/wright error.

Has the unit got an internal battery or something the unit has been unplugged for over 6months?

Any thoughts guys?

cheers

If you have an analogue connector, try switching it to the off posistion, start the car up, then try to connect again. This usually does the trick.

The RLTC backup battery lasts a number of years. I've not had one lose its settings yet!

Nice one bud! I may hold you to that, but for now I'm busy taking the car to bits again, lol. Infact when I get it moving again I'll come upto yours.

Cheers Stuart :)
