laptop ram is it easy to install?
Most likely you've got an AGP slot Greg, unless it's a really new PC in which case it may be a PCIe (PCI Express) Steve :)

laptop ram is it easy to install?
Usually much easier than on a desktop Mark. You should find a removeable flap on the underside of the laptop (usually held in place by 2 x small screws). It's usually a case of straight plug and play. Check you've got a free slot before you order though ;) I've never purchased RAM from Ebay - too much inferior, cheap crap about IMO. Let me know if you need any help bud ;) CheerZ Steve :)

I finally got HD last month after being tempted by the £150 and free install offer. Very impressed so far but looking forward to some more HD channels. Just about to bin my BT Business broadband after 7 years and switch it to Sky as well. Fingers crossed eh? ;) Steve :)

Vijay - this may well be a permissions issue after all. Take a look at the following: This is a permission issue. If the net view command fails with a "System error 5 has occurred. Access is denied." message, 1) make sure you are logged on using an account that has permission to view the shares on the remote computer. 2) Need to cache credential: logon the same username and password on both computers or use net net use \\computername /user:username command. 3) Make sure the Netlogon service is running. Give me a buzz if you need some help with the above ;) HTH Steve :)
