Cylinder down?
What a bummer. I'm interested to see how these compression results turn out as my headgasket was blown, smoking an exhaust like that but the results came back perfect

Made it down to the south of France in the Z!
Both the scenery and Zed look ace Si. Do you have to ask for the low clearance option for the ferry prior to booking, on arrival, or do they just pick you out? I did wonder if this was possible as the on/off ramp has a pretty savage angle change

Did I seal my sump incorrectly?!
I put a blob each end of the seal to hold it in place, then sealed the sump filling the groove with a bead of RTV which I think is what the service manual told me to do so should be fine

Sealing sensors
When you replace the fuel temp, water temp sensors etc. what do you use to seal them in, RTV or plumbers tape? Any idea what size the throttle position sensors screws are, i've misplaced mine and need to replace them quickly?

Cheapest Gates timing belt i have seen
Could be, i'd definitely replace it myself. All car manufacturers recommend a mileage/time to change the timing belt, whichever comes first. My Seat Leon is 30,000 miles or 4 years

HICAS Elimination Kit
What did that Meister R setup cost you, it's all Powertrix stuff isn't it? Are you getting uprated anti-roll bars as well? Stillen seem to be the weapon of choice

HICAS Elimination Kit
Not done it myself but alot of people have recommended the Driftworks item as it removes a joint that can fail. http://www.driftworks.com/driftworks-total-hicas-eliminator-kit-for-nissan.html

I think there's a fusebox in the boot so i'd presume that one. Tell him to look in the handbook if he has one it should be pretty obvious from that, if not let me know and i'll send my mate an email

There is a list on the site somewhere of owners of Conzult. Where are you?

How long to get up to temp?
Do you have or know anyone with Conzult? Take it for a drive plugged into that and have someone else monitor it

300zx v Aston Martin Vantage S
I love that pic over your bonnet chasing the Aston that looks smart:tongue_smilie: A friend of mine had a standard Vantage that I keep ticking over once a month while he's away, he's removed a fuse that controls the exhaust valve bypass so it stays open all the time, the sound is phenomenal! I can't wait to get mine on the road and see how they compare
