  6. Hi Guys.. Looks like im buying the gearbox I asked for advice on, so now.. im guessing im better off putting a new clutch in at the same time? What do you recommend? Im never going to be pushing big power.. just the usual mods which I doubt will ever exceed 400hp.. interested in what you have and why....

  8. Once its off you will realise why locking wheel nuts are a waste of money.. lol.. I WAS GOBSMACKED....
  9. A set of locking wheel nut removers should do it.. You can buy a set from screwfix for about £20... they are simply a reverse thread. tighten onto the nut and screw off...
  10. I say it so I dont mix up zclub with zxclub by accident... lol.. I only go on now and again, dont want to get it wrong and get black balled from both..lol.. That is funny though...lol
  11. Hi Daz, the other site seem to be edited whats going on and yours and Gaz's messages have gone and the link keeps disappearing so not able to comment.. Im not one for getting involved in the politics as I easily get wound up, but if any one from the other site is reading this link, then both sites should be working together to fix this not using it to score points or have a dig at old enemies.. Gary good on you for actually making the jump and trying to move forward. Chris sounds like a good lad so not going to comment and from someone who also has suffered from depression which in part to led to me losing my job I wont condone the behaviour as wrong is wrong.. Sites should all be working together to place Chris in a situation where this has to resolved and ultimately support Chris.. after all we keep hearing about the zed community.. If the link comes back on the other site tonight Ill post this there as well....
  12. Good to meet you Guys... looked a good weekend... Lexx dont know how you got sunburnt? tried having a wash?? lol.....

  14. nnnnoooooooooo.. lol.....
  15. Cheers Guys... found it and replaced... who the hell thought it was a good idea to put the fuse box there??? FFS
  16. Do we still have hosepipe bans on?? Think I have an old hifi in the loft if you need one? Let me know if you do and Ill go and have a look and ask Nigel to break it down with him.. cant work without tunes, your workmanship and work rate would surely fall.. wish you all the best in the clean up... extra work it looks like you could do without.. should have gone with the indoor pool idea...
  17. Seem to be going up in value round here the old Bimmers. gathering a larger following.. That one looks mint...
  18. How long do you reckon it will take me? 4 poster in the garage, is that in case you work late and need a nap????
  19. Cheers Bud... might have a stab at it...
  20. Indoor pool... be great for the next meet.... another good idea Jeff:clown:
  21. You Guys probably realise im new to mechanics due to the stupid questions.. However, learning quickly and once Ive seen a job done once I can do it again... I was going to get my gearbox refurbed but you cant replace a couple of the gears and relatively expensive for the parts plus I would pay somebody to do it for me.. Theres a gearbox come up for sale near me with 30K on it for £445.. Would I be better taking this option? How hard is it to swap the gearbox? do you think it is something I can figure out as a novice?? Cheers
  22. she wishes.... and not telling.....
