sounds like a pretty tasty garage you have there matey what would you say is more comfortable on a cruise? as id say thats the tipping point for me tbh, id love the gtr but im worried that on a 5 hour run the exhaust would send me mental and the ride would break my spine?

oh dont get me wrong i love the zed to bits she looks greats goes well and is comfey on a long trip but they seem fragile and expensive to fix ( mainly because most mechanics wont go near them )

ok its decission time ive got my uk auto tt and i love it but ever since i was about 12 ive wanted an r33 gtr but now theres a problem i cant decide wether to keep the zed and modify it to around the 400 mark or sell up and buy a gtr. personaly a cant stand the gtrs interior and i love the zed's one its a million times better in every way power wise i know the gtrs easyer to tune to high power but a 400hp wouldnt exactly be a slouch gtr has the obv benefit of awd so its gonna be a more stable car im not planning on doing any track days in either car but awd would be nice on wet roads etc finaly i do tend to go on long mway drives as my mums in cornwall and my bro lives in huddersfield and as ive never done one in a gtr i dont know for sure but id guess the zed would be more comfey i rekon to get the zed to 400hp id need the manual conversion, injectors, a good map, and maybe stronger turbo internals and a few other bits and bobs plus by the time jeffs fixed other things that no doubt will turn up i rekon itll cost about 3k so it would be cheaper than a gtr any thoughts or advise would be great and i know its a bit foolish posting this on a zed forum but im pretty sire u guys can be fairly unbiased!!! lol cheers nick

just avoid the common cars driven by teenage lads i wouldnt go near corsas or clios my betting is that quite a few have been wrapped up by teenagers in the past hence the frankly outragous price, how about a starlet or dare i say smart car a freind of mine recently passed his test and bagged an 10 plate i10 for just over 3 grand, cheap tax/insurance/fuel/ nice looking/ new so very safe plus its still under warrenty for 4years!!

its also about being able to get the power down youd prob find a 500hp well set up zed would match a 1000hp zed to 100mph although once the 1000hp zed did get traction it would leave most things behind

we got ours from harveys they cost around the 1500 quid mark and their lovely a year and a half on they still look and feel like new and their service was great, highly recommended by me

yea my ad bar does that as well i assumed it was because im using a blackberry tablet

i never thought having kids would be a good excuse for a better exhaust system!!

id agree i was set against an auto then i took one out for a spin and it is one of the better auto boxes out there, plus around london theres more traffic to sit in and its a god send in traffic plus there generaly cheaper to buy in the first place
