Pistons and bores are measured and graded. i.e. the correct piston is selected to have the correct clearance in the bore. Too much clearance and you get piston slap, too little and you will sieze piston up. But in reality, the sizes we are talking are really miniscule........this is from a toolmaker who can work in microns (with the help of my Wire EDM machine)........... lol ;)

I need to replace a pipe on my aircon system. It is at the front of the engine, in front of the rad, and connects to a tank? cannister? on the drivers side of the car. I have had a look at the online manual, aircon section, but i cannot find a pipework drawing. Anyone got a picture or something?? Stumped now...lol Rob

Hi Cos... de-lock, not de-handeling... will keep door handle, just block keyhole and dissasemble bellcrank mechanism behind it. I have C/L linked to my alarm so never use key anyway. Will get in through the boot if battery ever fails. Robert.

Hello you. Master cylinder is in engine bay, bolted on the bulkhead in front of the clutch pedal. there should be a tiny reservoir for filling up the fluid. Slave cylinder is found on the gearbox, underneath drivers' side. There is a bleed nipple on this. There is also a bleed nipple in the front right hand wheelarch, somebody please help me on this as i have never had to bleed mine using this. Will post some pics if i can find some usefull ones............. Robert & Wendy
