  1. http://www.machovideo.com/article.php?article=2809 From further down that link............ UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!!! :( She even moves the car over in it's parking space.
  2. Andy, How long have you had the springs fitted? Are your tyres wearing equally? Or have you had to reset the camber back to factory specs? Are the Eibachs a stiffer spring than stock? Many thanks, Rob.
  3. Yep AVG free is still available, I run it on all my machines and I am quite impressed by it. Go and download the latest version........... http://free.grisoft.com/doc/5390/lng/us/tpl/v5
  4. Well a few years ago i heard that the fuel used by one 747 traveling from London to New York is more than the total fuel used by 22 F1 cars in all their qualifying sessions, practice AND 16 races.........
  5. Is this when it is operated from the drivers door? I seem to remember mine doing this too, but using passenger switch it is 'normal' speed. Might be old wiring/bad connections...
  6. I've had my Z since 1999, it used to leak until i pulled all the rubbers off and discreetly applied silicone to the underside of the rubbers. Put a little in the 'channel' and then refit to the car. I have been leak-free for years now
  7. The stock gearknob is screwed on damn hard and also has thread lock compound on (loctite). I all but destroyed mine when I removed it. Clamp the mole grips real hard and unscrew. HTH
  8. Barge Pole??????????????
  9. Nice :D Can it be fitted with a V8?? :p :smw:
  10. Midland Turbo do a good deal as far as i can tell........ http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=76043&highlight=midland+turbo £175 each for reconditioned and balanced.
  11. Good find. I still really miss Senna. But he's blipping the throttle to try and get some front end grip mid corner. He makes a comment at the end about being good for the road, i guess he's talking about the understeer. Understeer is safer than oversteer, so I guess they set it up like that from the factory.
  12. My parents have one for sale at the mo, current shape 2001 X V70 T5 Estate. It's only done around 2,000 miles (yes two thousand). Leather interior, auto box, champagne gold exterior paint. The thing is fooking nuts, pulls like a train, brakes are superb and a gorgeous 5 cylinder soundtrack :D seems like it's built rock solid too.
  13. He sounds African and VERY trustworthy :D I'll take one :p
  14. Was it cheap? How can I buy it? :wack: :xxx: :smash:
  15. Dan, all the advice I can give is expect this to go on for a while yet. I had a crash back in February this year while traveling around an island. The woman to my right just crashed into me without warning, without indicating etc. Open and shut case I thought. Apperently no, it's not. First thing I learned was your NCB will be knocked right now for having a pending claim. This means you have to win the case to get it back. Second best option is 50/50, but go to court first, dont let your solicitors talk you into this because this is the easiest way to finish it for them. Am i right in saying you were both on a dual carrigeway? or single carrigeway? You're gonna have to be VERY carefull, I can see your case having a lot more pitfalls than mine. Regards, Rob.
  16. Very nice, thankyou. :D Merry Christmas to all.
  17. It still holds one of the Bonneville 2WD records, 260.9mph 2 way average. This was set way back in 1991 ;)
  18. Shiny & Purple are two of my favourite words :D  ;) As for the wheels..........Option 3 though for sure ;)
  19. Hi Mike, I have one lying around, I bought it when I was rebuilding my own gearbox as a 'safety net'. Worst case scenario was to build one 'box from the 2. But as it happened all I needed to do was replace bearings in my original. The 'box i bought I was told has a 1st gear synchro problem. I have not stripped it or fitted it, so I can only pass on the info that was told to me. I have to say, it looks in a lot better condition than mine, no oil on the outside at all just nice and dry. I paid £60 for it, I'm just looking to get my money back as it's taking up space in the shop :P HTH Rob.
  20. Are they mad driving on slicks in that weather? I hope that was their in lap because the rainstorm just started. Looks like on the in car he lost it on the straight from water running accross the track! Scary stuff
