Nightmare job to do with engine in........ I might even go so far as to say impossible :( It's just too cramped down the sides of the engine, turbo area. The chassis rails are 'in the way'

ceramic brakes
Is this a similair setup to what Lotus uses? An aluminium disc coated in ceramic? I can see this would be a vast improvement over cast iron. Unsprung weight reduced dramatically.

Alloy wheel weight
When I got my 17" Volk Racing Challenge i decided to weigh them compared to my stock wheels, they weighed 1kg less each wheel/tyre considering the rim had gone up 1" in diameter, 1/2" in width and tyre also was 10mm wider. Not bad methinks :) But as to what they weigh........ I cant remember figures now :o

Chris Walker wins his first ever WSB race
I think us Brits are on a roll of first wins just lately. First was Jenson a few weeks ago, and this weekend it is Chris Walker in the WSB and also Rob Huff in the WTCC round 2 at Brno. Come on lads! give us something to cheer for again!!

Chris Walker wins his first ever WSB race
LMAO that makes me feel better knowing i was not the only bloke shouting at the tv pacing the living room and saying i can't watch it, but couldnt turn away. THE STALKER RULES!! :D:D Well done Chris, he has had way more than his fair share of bad luck in the past, i hope this makes up for a fair bit of that bad luck. Rob.

NZR - PDA & SatNav
I have had an Acer N35 for a couple of months now. It has a built in GPS reciever which is neat and tidy. No bluetooth support. I have also bought and fitted a SIDO wireless LAN card to access the internet, something surreal about surfing the net on the sofa on something as big as a calculator :D Standard software installed was Destinator, it's ok, but does not cover all areas by postcode. But I recently installed TOMTOM5 and that is much better software package. Reccomended ;)

Who has been on a track day?
I had my first trackday in March @ Bedford Autodrome on the Gran Turismo circuit booked through trackdays.co.uk It was booked as a gift for me for my Birthday. It was an open pitlane day which was awesome. My first 'stint' was about 35 minutes :p Then you just come and go as you please, I think max was 50 cars on track at one time but I never had to wait at pit exit to get onto the track. One word of advice, stock Z brakes are unbeliveably cr@p. I had aftermarket pads, stock discs & calipers. They could not cope with the 130+mph --> 75mph stoppie on the main straight then 90 --> 30 mph straight after. Get some bigger discs asap. HTH Rob.

1.0l micra, possibly the ultimate sleeper!
That's awesome. Did he put the 4x4 transmission in or has he kept it FWD....... I guess from his starts he is still running FWD though :( Those micras are scarey things :P i had a new shape hire car earlier this year and it was the worst car i have ever drove. Crap all round.

But dgsignmakers well done for hunting him down and giving him something to think about. I would have done the same if i had've known who did it.

***chav Smashes Windscreen***
Well from my experience, the cops dont give a fook about car crime. I had my zed broke into a couple of years back, they managed to bust the lock and open the door. But the instant they did that my alarm went off and they ran off. I just saw 2 shadows in the distance, and they were long gone by the time i was dressed. Phoned the cops and they said they would be here in a couple of hours to fingerprint the handle (bear in mind this was 5am) well i waited till 9am was 1 hour late for work, and the mofos didn't even turn up in the end. Useless.
