  1. I think i'm right in saying the UK clocks on the left are Series 2. The clocks on the right are Series 1. Just out of interest, if the clocks on the right are Jap, are they 300kmh?
  2. stenorth sold a Silver Series 4 1996 Lwb Twin Turbo Manual recently, did that go to a club member?
  3. He got his a while ago before all the import rules and regs changed :headvswal
  4. Is Craig Davids '99 spec the newest Z we got on here? Who else has a really late Z?
  5. Yes! Gearing is different. JDM has a black plastic 'end piece' UK has a blue plastic 'end piece'
  6. Happy Birthday Stu. Hope you have a good one (what's left of it) :D :duffer:
  7. Ahh I get what you're saying now.... due to the radius differences ;)
  8. JoelyP: Nice kit for the money! Seems very comprehensive. Topless: After how many miles would you expect a lip? I do at the very most 5,000 miles a year in a Z.
  9. 6 pots? :p I got caliper envy
  10. Hi John Harry sounds like a mighty fine young man you have there, so brave for one so young. Robert, the children and I wish you so much love and luck with what you all have to go thru right now. But plz plz give Harry a huge hug for me..........and John another hug for you and your wife. Even tho none of us are near, we are all here for you, if you want to rant or scream or just talk, do so here......... we will all listen. I know things are going to be really hard for a while, but all of us are wanting the very best for him and for you and your family. I for one will be keeping my fingers crossed. Lots of love Wendy Rob and children XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
  11. John as a parent of 2 kids I really don't know what to say to you. :( Words fail me. All I can say is, Wendy and myself are wishing all the very best for your little lad Harry. God bless him. Robert.
  12. He'll probably make a sandwich out of them if they don't obey :p
  13. Fooking class!
  14. part numbers: 1100-020-750 Minor service kit T2/T25 short brg, Dynamic seal 1100-025-162 Step gap piston ring
  15. Hehe, well good luck. It's not difficult, just take your time and be patient getting those pesky circlips in place properly. You'll see ;)
  16. badger1/Rob: I'll be in touch very soon dude! :duffer: markgixxer: LOL 1/2" makes all the difference dude! Just ask the ladies :hyper: LOL retro620i: Larger pads for stock calipers? (not had a look yet) silverbullet/Mark: I was thinking along the exact same lines. I do not know what pad material is in there at the moment (most likely to be stock), but I'm sure there is a better pad available to handle the extra heat. mgh297: Thanks for those 'stella' points ;) As for Weight issue, yes they ARE heavier, but not a great deal. I'd think it was not noticable at all unless you were using a telemetry setup....
  17. They are going on your old black Z Rob :) My red one has 335mm on it already :) And as for steering wheel... Err next time you're up this way give me a shout and we'll meet up if you want? :duffer:
  18. Mark, what they come off is top secret at the mo :D :mac1: But, yes to running stock calipers at that cicumfrence, I'm certainly going to have a look anyway. I've took a chance on outlay on this initial pair to see if it's feesable.
  19. Nice!.......... But I'm hoping to do it for less than those prices :D :hyper:
  20. Oh, i have a set of 17" wheels to test this with as well.... (wheels on the red car are 17")
  21. Stage 1 was actually finding some suitable discs, well low and behold I did just that and ordered them Monday morning. They were delivered this morning and I was absolutely speechless at them :D Lets let the pictures do the talking.... Stock Z 280mm front disc: 345mm disc I sourced: A direct comparison between the two: As you can see they are absolutely HUGE in comparison with the stock setup. Last weekend I swapped my wheels from stock to 18" and wow does it show up how puny the stock setup is. My plans are to make (at work) a caliper relocation bracket to mount stock caliper on a larger radius. As per previous posts stock calipers ARE good if all the pistons work and dont forget, nissan have carefully chosen them to match the master cylinder volume too. This will also save me hundreds of pounds buying new calipers as well, so that can't be a bad thing ;) Any questions? comments? :p
  22. My new project ;) Stage one is complete..... ;) I'll put the pics up a bit later when I'm at home. Cant wait for stage 2 :nana2:
