  1. Well Nicky Hayden did it in the race!! You must have been sleeping Jimmy ;)
  2. It's a 1/8" NPT thread if i remember correctly, so theoretically no being a taper thread, but just for peace of mind clean it and use some hylomar maybe?
  3. I would say synchros. I've never heard of a box stripping its teeth before. It's a good excuse to go for dog engagement really isn't it? LOL Oh, and to add, the layshaft bearings will suffer if the oil drops too low.
  4. The trackday I did at Bedford Aerodrome was very well organised. No mucking about whatsoever. Only 50 cars on track at any one time and an open pitlane. Was thoroughly enjoyable (even though it totally fried the stock brakes :()
  5. Sounds very good! I'll be watching that then!! :duffer:
  6. :duffer: Cheers. Practice makes perfect though. After using the software for a while you get to know shortcuts that make the job easier/faster. You also have your way of doing certain 'things'. Sounds daft but it's hard to explain :mac1: :D I really enjoy doing cad work, for the simple reason before cutting any metal, you know whatever is drawn is going to work. No trial and error. The trial and error has been done on the PC beforehand. Here are a couple more. First one is a hydraulic planish and pierce machine, second is another press tool for cropping and piercing tube ends for the automotive industry.
  7. Well the first stage would be to see what package they are using and 'obtain' it for evaluation purposes :D I use AutoCAD quite extensively, never been to college for it but can quite happily produce 2D & 3D working drawings :) This is a press tool I did for the CERN Project (google it ;)) :) Good Luck!
  8. Well I'm glad you're ok after that Bird! But OMG for the AA man! I just don't know what I would do if I lost any of my kids, the bottom would just fall out your world no doubt. RIP AA man's daughter.
  9. Just buy a bigger monitor
  10. Theiving scumbags! They need their *****x chopped off! I'm glad you still got the car though.
  11. Here's mine: Wilwood 335mm x 32mm discs & Wilwood 4 pot calipers.
  12. HAHA I dunno mate I was too busy watching the orange sparks comming from the 'A' pillar
  13. HAHA @ Milk....... I know what you're saying about leaving that cutting paste on though, a few years ago I had a Pug 405 resprayed. It was in black, done in summer, and they took the time to wash it off. I never got all the paste out of the mouldings, even with jetwash/carwash/scrubbing brush, nothing would. It set like concrete. I put that car on it's roof @ 100mph tho so I wasn't too bothered about paste in the end LMFAO
  14. Well he's an expert now he's driven a V10 renault ;) :p ........very slowly at that
  15. PMSL..........It was somebody called Craig Stratton........ look him up ;) Oh and pass me another 'nana please!

  19. I did that to my red zed 7 years ago now just to be different :D
  20. How many more parts are there in the DTA kit? 5 hoses and 2 valves, I thought that was a complete kit?
  21. That is a good price Jimbo. What would the shipping be on such items though?
  22. Was a joke dude! :p Disclaimer: Anyone using B&Q's finest garden hose for PCV hose replacement should refit a Nissan alternative now!
  23. Just use garden hose. Perfectly good.
  24. That is one big pile of shit!(said in Jurassic Park voice) LMAO
