If it's white smoke that 'hangs around' it will be your rear turbo seals. A £5 part that needs the engine out to replace :p

Hydraulic lifters are not mentioned in that package at all?

I had this problem when I ordered a clutch from America years ago. They sent me an N/A kit for my TT :(. The friction plate WILL fit over the gearbox shaft. It is the correct diameter and correct splines. The N/A pressure plate will NOT fit on the TT flywheel. the PCD for the bolt holes is too small. 240pcd=N/A 250pcd=TT In my red Z i currently have a TT flywheel, TT pressure plate and N/A sintered iron friction plate. It has worked perfectly since 2003. HTH and good luck!

If it is comming from the middle of the vee it is the Det Sensor wire.

I put my first car on it's roof at triple digit speeds. Not big, and not clever I know. Nobody else was in the car, and nobody else was involved/affected. The seatbelt saved my life FACT!!!!!!! Even hanging upside down in my seat my seatbelt still released perfectly, it was a good job my head cushioned my fall though :rofl:

Well to be quite honest I think they would be! The Z bonnet is very very light as standard. It makes me wonder why the hell they did not make the wings, doors and boot lid out of aluminium. I reckon there is 100kg to be saved in just those parts alone. The doors and tailgate are just a joke, sooooooo heavy :cry: Gosh, I'm sounding like Nelson here aren't I? ;) (ye olde members joke) ;)

HAHA yes, top skin and underneath strengtheners are aluminium. The only steel bits are the threadded inserts where the hinges attach and the actual catch itself. HTH
