LOL Just turn the boost down to 9psi to go to standard ;) It's only at 12psi now so it's nowhere near the limit. Oh and I keep it in the garage, I've done maybe 200 miles since April so it's not like I rag it everywhere anyway. The Boost controller is hard-wired in so I will be leaving that in, the Racelogic Traction Control likewize, and the JWT ECU is 16 bit, so it's useless to 99.9% of the members on here as they have '95 or older cars.

I suspect you're right. I have a vid of it in 2000 when it just got imported and it has that same spoiler on it. So in the less than 2 years it was in japan somebody fitted it. As for why I'm selling it, well I bought it because I knew I would never have the oppertunity to own such a new Z ever again. But I really need 4 seats so it has to go i'm afraid. If it was a 2+2 there is not a cat's chance in hell I would ever sell it. It drives like BRAND NEW. No squeaks, no rattles, nothing. It has a standard exhaust so you can hear any noise (or lack of..) Mechanically it is perfect, but for it to be 110% perfect it ideally needs painting. I'm not sure whether to paint it or let it go for less and the new owner sort that out........

Right, I've just put my kids on E-Bay to finance that car! :bow: superb machine!

I bought it....... It was 85p/litre IIRC...... As I said it ran fine for a while, but then started running really rough. Tickover jumping about all over the place. I changed a fuel filter (which was full of something that resembled motor oil) that cured it for about 5 miles lol... What did cure it permanently was to run the tank empty, then put £5 of unleaded in and £15 of diesel. I swear to you, 1 mile down the road the car was back to normal and has stayed normal ever since (4+ weeks ago now).

I tried biodiesel in my mrs' pug 406 2.1 TD and it made it run like an absolute sack of crap! I will never put that sh!t in it again. Avoid it IMO ;) But.... I've never made my own and don't plan too after this lol

Sounds like a siezed turbo to me. "...the car completely refused to go past 0 and would just keep revving but with no extra boost" and "...the actuator on the wastegate is not opening on this turbo and that there is quite a bit of oil leaking around this area." Classic symptoms.
