Bought an Illuminated full 180mph set of clock went and fitted them, when it came to plugging in the 3 connection on the back of the clocks I noticed a difference in the positioning of the connectors and labelling of connection of the circuit sheet were all different also. so have had to put the TT ones back in that were there.

Bought unit (180mpg NA)

ones in vehicle atm (120mph)

picture to illustrate.

Blue = 180mph clocks (ones i want in).

green = current 120 mph TT clocks.

is there adaptors I can get or do I have no hope in hell of getting NA clocks over 120mph for this Jap spec NA model (91).

Cheers.

Easy fix is to remove the speedo head from the new cluster and fit it to your original.

Robertz

would that work ? as i was contemplaiting it.

Yes that works, I have done it a couple of times now with different car / series of speedos.

It WONT work with series 4! They are electrically AND physically VERY different from earlier series.
