  1. I think only one or two were ever built for the street, just to homologate the model type for GT1 racing.
  2. Yeah thanks Pete.......... You broke the forum for a good few hours! Well done that man..... I actually got some work done today instead of 'researching' on here :dance::duffer: All the best mate! Rob.
  3. ..........So it was you then Pete!!! ;) Mininova was it? :p Looking very good actually..... Much more modern!
  4. I'm liking the look of the new forum :D Did somebody download some new software off the bittorrent then? :smw: :mac1:
  5. None of those things 'make' boost. If it's running on 3 cylinders lumpy as hell I'd say yes check all above. But you say it's running fine. I've been in your position, and it turned out to be a seized turbo. If you're making boost and loosing it through a huge leak, you would probably hear it. But check for a boost leak first though, this is the simplest/cheapest thing to do. Did you ever hear any 'zizzing' type noise at all before boost would not go above zero?
  6. You either have a huge boost leak or 1 seized turbo.
  7. SNMP:Simple Network Management Protocol The Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) forms part of the internet protocol suite as defined by the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF). SNMP is used in network management systems to monitor network-attached devices for conditions that warrant administrative attention. It consists of a set of standards for network management, including an Application Layer protocol, a database schema, and a set of data objects.[1] SNMP exposes management data in the form of variables on the managed systems, which describe the system configuration. These variables can then be queried (and sometimes set) by managing applications.
  8. PMSL @ Doorstop! OBD-II you can get code readers for that type of interface can't you? What type ecu's are cars running today? 8bit? 16bit? 32bit?
  9. Thank you AndyP and ChrisC, I do have plans for it though ;)
  10. Thank you Andy. I guess it's quite rare then? For a manual TT. I didn't actually know the 16bit ecu's could be chipped until I read the JWT website. Have you ever seen one before?
  11. Well AndyP posted this pic: From this thread: http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=95957&highlight=ecu+pics It looks a lot different. The actual chip is in a different location. But, as far as colour goes, it is much more of a silver then this one: Maybe it is a 16Bit ECU then? :hyper: :nana2:
  12. Doesn't biodiesel take AGES to make and is very messy? :(
  13. What's the approx cost of this?
  14. I have not opened up an ECU before....... So I really don't know what to compare it to. As I said that list of JWT ecus above, I can't even find it on there :(
  15. With reference to this thread: http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=103962&highlight=jwt+ecu+bit I cannot identify this ecu using the numbers/codes on it. Can anyone tell me if it's an 8 bit or 16 bit jobbie please :) Would the 'daughter board' refer to that board at the bottom? If so I guess it's an 8 bit ECU?
  16.  I hadn't thought about that!!!!
  17. No worries JD! We'll have to meet up for a drink sometime soon.
  18. I did the same to my red car ;) Gives a greater area for the IC duct inlet.
  19. Probably something to do with screen burn??
  20. Bloody tart! :D Good to see you're employed again :)
  21. Thanks Andy, you've been busy lately..... It's almost like you've opened up a garage or something :p ;) ATB you two :) :duffer:
  22. Stevie, Pete, Steve, Bigsss & murt, thanks fellas. All the best lads! I'm on the Bailies now :D :duffer: Rob
  23. LMAO @ pussies! :D Two is always better than one eh? :D
