  1. they are different to the standard t25 flanged inlet ... think some where along the line turbo has been rebuilt due to ... cracked housing ... incorrect one fitted or done wrong at the factory ( would of thought so )
  2. Happy birthday Chris .. u kept that on the hush hush
  3. assuming your talking about the rear one .. unbolt and tap it out .. front oil pump one will need a seal puller or some thing to tap and twist it out .. but be warned dont damage the outer face the seal its on
  4. oh dear .... so idealy a new cover plate is needed i would still take them off and inspect the comp wheels just to make sure thay are the same
  5. try this http://download.cnet.com/Free-PDF-to-Word/3000-10743_4-75732609.html
  6. what i would do is take the comp covers off and check the size of the comp wheels and holes see if there shaped the same or size from the pics looks like different comp covers .. for 2 different A/Rs .. or its had comp wheel replace with not the correct one Oh really another ztech job .. nice
  7. damage no .. but Performance yes ... for Fans to work effectively they need to be sitting against the tube so the air is not thrown away
  8. looks more like the cover housing has been milled out to much as it should have the shape of the comp blades like the top pic get some calipers and size up the internal hole on both ..
  9. i had the same on my forum on the reg page u can make up Multi choice Q's Math type and like Who makes the 300zx ppl joining up will only know Spam bots are not that clever
  10. by the size of the tub yes they would fit ... its about the largest u can go with out really hacking out Car chassis and other parts ... Other than that they wasnt Made with the 300 in mind due to Clocking Vac tap Actuator Placement ( Brackets ) Pipe work Fitment Exhaust outlet 5 bolt
  11. they look like Godspeed tubs or Chinese type ... and like u pointed out Cheap and could blow at 1k and with the 300 ... its engine out do u want to risk it out of interest what did u pay for them ?
  12. i can not see how he could say they fit a 300zx ... as they havent even been fitted for Left/Right sides
  13. they will Fit .... but Not direct bolt on far from it m8 you kinda jumped in the deep end with these not all bad ... what u could do is Chop off the Bolt flange for the intake comp and use a Coupler to join them you need to get some Oil lines with 1mm restricters in them .. If them tubs are ball bearing type if not and standard Jornel type .. u be good with your normal oil/water pipe work
  14. yeah clocking is when the Front Comp housing is rotated ... as your doing that it will move the act bracket and it will not be inline with the Act valve on the exhaust side yours this is a Garret unit
  15. ok theres 3 things your gonna have to do Make up piping for the Comp Inlet need new Coupler for Comp outlet Both Tubs will need new Actuator brackts and clocking Drivers side at 90* Passenger side at 45* you can leave the Boost line tap there but u will need to Incorp your boost controller there and one other thing ... Do that have garret stamped in the housing as they dont look like garret units
  16. yeah like mine .. but the tubs do come in both forums Flange Bolt Flange Pipe
  17. Click Go Advanced then below the Text box it says " Manage Attachments: " Do so and follow what it says
  18. to easy ways Save file to desk top and use the Forum Pic uploader if u click the ( Go Advanced button to the lower right ) other would be to Upload them to Photo bucket and copy the IMG file
  19. can not see any of the pics as its asking to log in
  20. yeah .. you just have Pipe flange inlet type thats all ... but this means u have to Mock up some pipe work to the meet up with the Intake hard pipes just behind the main lights
  21. thats right .. standard tubs are 4 bolt ... the new ones are 5 bolt
  22. the GT2560r comes in two A/R ratings 53/63 but yeah all most the same
  23. As you can see by the Pic with the tubs side by side Comp Inlet bolt holes at different angle and different stud patten for the comp outlet Take no notice of the impeller on this pic .. the tub failed
