  2. honestly try to new jubilees use a torque wrench and clean the inside of the hose as well if theres rubbish in it you will never get a seal
  3. jubilee make a high torque version as well which can tightened to 17nm which is a fer nominal amount
  4. dosent always happen and they d have a tendency to slice the hose if your not careful but they are still a good clamp don't get me wrong
  5. I used to use them but have like noz found an issue that they dont seal as well as a jubilee does as in where they tighten up has a tendancy to leak
  6. yes i run a japspeed rad because they are unbeatable value and actually not bad quality be engine side you want to trim so that it makes the rad side fit correctly so its not on the cock so as to speak then fit genuine jubilee clips and tighten and a problem you should have no more but really is worth using a torque wrench as if you over tighten they you damage them and they loose the clamping torque under tighten them and they will maybe still leak
  7. it might sound daft but on some of jubilee clips thats not up to there capacity if your using a 1/4 inch short handle or screwdriver on the non genuine ones though it would break them lol its poss you might need a trim i had to on mine
  8. ive found sfs hoses fine if used with a genuine jubilee clamp that is torqued to the correct 7.9NM ultimate capacity for a 45-60mm item
  9. you may have coil pack wiring that's breaking down due to age and heat it may be that despite showing continuity that its breaking down and building up resistance in the wire and not giving enough juice to the coils is it worse when its warm ?
