jesus this is hard
had a guy come 120 miles yesterday to view the car. He loved it and after a spin and a chat left me a deposit to secure it as he is in the middle of selling his own car. Today was a really nice mild sunny day in Eire and went for a spin with targas off, getting the usual stares and smiles and nice comments. But more than that, I really appreciated being behind the wheel of it again as i have hardly driven it in the last couple of months. What a great feeling, just reminded me of why I love these cars. The sound, the driving experience, the thrill, the relaxed mood. I'm expecting a call in the next week or 2 to say he's on his way to pick it up :headvswal :( Has to go though, i've got priorities. sometimes I read threads on here of people selling up because they have issues too, and kind of shrug it off thinking it's just they're bored with it and maybe a bit of cash would come in handy. Well now I know exactly how it REALLY feels. Am I looking for sympathy? you can chalk it fooking down I am :duffer:

Hear the hit of the summer here first lol
Well it was played around 11 tonight, DJ introduced it as an exclusive from an Irish producer.....lol........ got a good responce from texts, I called him after to thank him, asked me where my "studio" was and my background. He was a bit surprised when I told him my "studio" comprises of 6 synthesizers a 16 channel mixer and a compressor. He thought it was very good and said he will play it all week. My dream continues but at least it's a start. it's far from perfect, but now i've got a reason to try harder, thanks again everyone. Maybe I won't have to sell my Z after all. All this spare time I have isn't going to waste :hyper:

Hear the hit of the summer here first lol
no problem If people want to hear it :D When they play it on the radio tonight, it will help with the compression and give it more depth, I will ask them to record it again through their system and make me a copy. i simply don't have the studio with that type of equipment, but if this gets a bit of interest and more airplay, I will be looking into it. Thanks for the nice comments guys, hope I don't bomb tonight and people start turning down their radios.

Hear the hit of the summer here first lol
http://www.sendspace.com/file/dk6r9n It's getting airplay on BeatFM tonight on their show for new talent. It started out with my video on youtube over Christmas, but I got a number of emails asking me if it was available to download, so I decided to do it from scratch, give it a more "dynamic" sound using a better mixer and compression/mastering. It's being played in a club here on wednesday night, so I'm pretty well chuffed! Giorgio Moroder did the original of course but this is my "stamp" on it this time next year we'll be millionaires

what the f***
I know exactly where you're coming from Graham , I was buying something over xmas, I sent him payment by paypal immediately, went back to work and came home 2 hours later to find a string of nasty emails demanding more money for postage, and had re-listed the item ( i got refunded) and left nasty comments at the end of the re-listed item . I sent him an e-mail back telling him to go f*ck himself and was glad he didn't get my cash what is it with these people

Selling my z
Thanks for the support everyone. There's a lot of pessimism in the Irish economy at the moment. No-one seems to be spending money, the media have everyone gone nuts with doom and gloom. I'm opimistic that things will pick up, but when you're self employed with a young family and a mortgage, suppliers to pay and just day to day living , it can get you down. Been drinking too much lately to cope with it too, and that's not helping. I don't know what UK banks are like, but greedy Irish banks have gone from giving out 100% mortgages to people who can't afford them, throwing money at everyone and anything to basically crucifying loyal customers with small businesses like myself. They won't see me though until the storm blows over, even though i'm with the same bank for 10 years. In my opinion it's their fault the economy has slowed, but they have no intention of losing one cent. I've said it before and i'll say it again. Banks, insurance companies and solicitors. All they need is a balaclava and a sawn-off shotgun. Robbers and crooks the lot of them. I nearly fell off the chair last week with laughter when I heard what that french guy did at the stock exchange, buy that man a pint lol

Selling my z
Hi folks i've been holding out, but I have financial problems so my little honey has to go. http://www.carzone.ie/usedcars/index.cfm?fuseaction=car&carID=911337 I'm not advertising it here for a couple of reasons, no.1 being you guys will try and talk me out of it :D no.2 is my location , OK i'm only across the water but I am hoping i will get more for it from an Irish buyer. I know you guys are having it tough with resale prices over there, as you can see my asking price is 10.5K euro which is negotiable. I spent 3K last year alone on it. I don't intend selling it for buttons. There's a few minor things needing attention, it was my plan to take it off the road until the summer and do those jobs myself but my circumstances have changed dramatically. I will still be dropping in here and I haven't lost my passion for the Z. Hopefully when my circumstances change I will have another z in my drive. If anyone here fancies a trip across the water to view or buy, email mickandadell@eircom.net or call 00353877833903

Hope you find a better one. you're more than welcome to call and take a look at mine anytime, weather I do or don't sell it at least you'll have seen it in the flesh, and can make you're mind up.

Is the arm which joins the passenger to drivers wiper the same on any other nissan's? Tulip is in a spot of bother and asked me to post this. She's on hols down south Ire. and will be passing a large scrapyard in the morning. She says the end of the joining arm has a nylon type bushing which has worn away. Cheers

THis is the best movie i've seen for a long time, Dialogue, babes, muscle cars, **REAL** stunts, good music Oh and Stuntman Mike,(Kurt Russel) the lead character doesnt speak for the first 30 mins or so, but his very first word is ....Ok it begins with F (not f*ck) something much sweeter :D

I know, the little mike on my camera gets drowned out when "phat" sounds are playing, having the camera in one hand and playing with the other aint easy after 6 bacardi's either lol. Thanks for the nice comment tho! BTW every single note was played by me earlier on and sequenced. @ Trish what the hell are you doing up at this hour? fair play :)
