right ive been looking a few weeks and i wont really be buying till the new year anyway but ive seen this and been talkin to trish (tulip) about this car and she said its been for sale for a while, does anyone know much about it or the owner?? personally i think it looks sweet, but how does it run if ya know it or is it one of those that i should stay well clear of??

It's the wrong time of year to sell and not many people want a big gas guzzelers anymore

another reason why it could have been for sale a while, is the shock when a potential buyer gets an insurance quote.

ive been insured on high power cars before so this shouldnt be too bad.

what i meant was because its been for sale for a while you might be able to get a better deal, over here the big tax puts people off, plus the ins, when your going to look at it chewie might go with you for a second opinion the car is in wexford and hes not too far away in waterford

cheers chewie, meet is a good idea, its still on uk plates though so add 2k to his price :( but it still looks a fairly well looked after motor from the pics. itll be a month or 2 till im ready to go look at it but ill give ya a shout then to go interrigate :D

well went to look at the car originally in this thread and it was no where near as clean as it looked in the ad, its down as a 92 but the uk plate was a G and the chasis code was 503 which is also a jap 1990 code so needless to say that didnt help matters the rear leather beside the seats was all torn and the front bumper doesnt line up right either, had a small spot of rust on the drivers front wing and a few marks around the car too, the paint which looks fresh in the pics was all faded and every panel seemed to be a different shade of red, needless to say im stayin well away.....

 

 

so Mick/Chewie.... when ya decide if your really gona sell up i might be a bit more interested, pay a bit more but get alot more ;)

 

also found out ive another sorg on the way today so go me :D
