Insurance & Road Tax in Ireland??
Yep that's true, they do that if it's over 2 months out of date. It depends on the police officer , some are OK ,some are...you know!

Insurance & Road Tax in Ireland??
tell us about it:( even my wifes old 2ltr volvo is over 500eur for the year. you can tax your z for 3 months for around 320euro let it run into 5 or 6 months, depending if you are moving to a rural area so the chances of being stopped are minimal, then say it was off the road for a few months and do the same again. it's risky, but it's insane to fork out that much in one go considering the age of the cars. btw, the actual fine for no road tax here is around 60 euro. Do the math lol! let the guys know when you arrive, I'm sure we'll have a meet or something

If it's of any use to you, I still have the original nissan chip from the ECU. Maybe if it was put back in it might cancel out the idle, but I doubt it. The machanic who did the conversion has left the garage he was working in, If I manage to track him down is there anything you want me to ask him? by the way hope this helps http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=116199

High idle please help
can any of you guys help. As some of you know, I sold my z to a member on here richardgills some weeks ago. I am posting this to try and help. Basically after the manual conversion was done last september, the idling/tick over is too high, around 2000rpm. I never got it sorted because I presumed it was something simple. richard has been banging his head off the wall to try and sort it with no luck as yet. Please please help someone, I want to know my baby is being enjoyed and driven by someone, not holed up in a garage for the next year.:( Mick

I don't know what to say, I 'm not mechanically minded. I do know if it were still mine I would be driving it as much as possible and not too bothered about the high idle. everyone's different I know, im sorry this happened Richard, give us a ring tomorrow if you can. I understand your pain, especially after getting the bumper and interior sorted. No offence to jeff, but you know it will cost a lot to bring it over there, there has to be an easier solution. Did you pm quavey or post up on help and advice?

hi Guys/gals any chance of rating my recent music videos
:)Cheers guys, good to see the old reliables are still around:duffer: Groover, my inspiration comes from sound itself. As long as I can remember I have been facsinated by sound, especially the sounds that synthesizers make. They are a gateway to experiment with creating your own sound. Unfortunately , anyone these days can buy a software "synth" and play it on their laptop. Most of the music that is on the radio now seems digital, pre-programmed ..it doesn't have feeling or emotion like it did not so long ago. Hence my other main influence Vangelis, who is probably the most influential composer of electronic music. i'm trying not to be a stranger, but when you're zedless, it's a bitch to come on here and look at loverly zeds that you want but can't afford:x:

hi Guys/gals any chance of rating my recent music videos
Last time I asked this ,you guys were great and it bumped up my profile a bit on youtube. Since then i've had somgreat comments and enquiries from amature film makers and a guy who works for a major fashion brand asking if I could do some music for a fashion show in october! I know, the internet is full of wierdos but this is a start at least, thanks again..here's a few of the vids:) P.S. I've already included the stereo versions in the link so you don't have to click on them. Mick

My band REALLY needs your support to get on the Telly Box: Orange Unsigned Act!
Hi liegh, listened to the tracks, very fresh and excellently produced. Thrashing guitars aren't normally my thing, but I really enjoyed that, very melodic and getting the electronica vibe ...:) can't comment yet , still waiting on email for the sign-up. The very best of luck, you're an extremely creative guy. Mick

1999 imports?
Did I read somewhere that 99spec z32's are not mod friendly? you can't increase bhp with some basic chip/boost like the earlier models. Someone correct me if i'm wrong.
