Hi, I have 1 oil catch tank I wish to plug into the PCV system,whilst retaining the PCV valves. I understand this will remove the possibility of blow by oil being recirculated into the intakes , what i need is an idiots guide of how exactly to plumb this in, can anybody help with a simplistic guide Cheers Sayers

Hi, when I have boost leak tested my car I can hear what seems to be air spinning both turbos up, Is this normal ?, Is there a better way to check for the leaks than using ones ears ? Anyone got a boost leak detector local to Wolverhampton that i could beg borrow or steal to test my car whilst it is in pieces please , What is the max i should put into the system ?

Hi Jimmer, when I hit 4 K the car bogs down badly ,the car is known to run rich on the pass side and lean on the driver side bank .so im now working my way through the remaining possibilities of this issue , a new loom is being fitted and I am wanting to check every sensor the loom connects to , VTC solenoids included, to date all the injectors have been cleaned properly ( ultrasonic) and flow tested etc, its had another maf, and PTU, fuel pressure regulator checked, fule filter ( new) and yet the problem remains , driving normally below 4 K , or booting it , the car pulls well

Anybody know how to test the VTC solenoids are operating correctly , preferably in situ , Is there a test procedure I can carry out ?

All , fitting a new loom to my 93 tt auto , I want to test all of the engine sensors TPS,CAs, O2, etc etc , can anybody advise what values I should be testing each component for and how to do the test , and also how do I check the VTC solenoids for correct operation

Most are aware my car has presented some strange faults recently , running rich on the Pass bank , lean on the drivers side for example, anyhow , a new loom is now being fitted , and im also swapping the MAF, anyone know why my original MAF has 4 pins in it , but the loom 5 slots, and my replacement MAF 5 pins in it , corresponding with 5 slots in the loom. both MAfs share the same part number

I need x 1 750 cc JSEC injector for my POS, can anybody assist pls

Hi Jeff the car went on the dyno in Howarth Doncaster for an independent check. the AFR was measured by the operator in both banks , all other parameters were also checked and found to be within an acceptable range . the only thing that wasn't correct at the time of test was the AFR on 1 bank. now I need to find out if I have an injector fault ( or partially blocked) or a loom issue. Looking for guidance to decipher whether my loom is faulty or an injector , long story short my car has a lower AFR on the driver side bank in comparison to the passenger side causing det , the paperslip that came with my injectors say 11.5 ohm but not to what this measurement relates , am I right to take to take this as a measure of resistance ? , if so across which pins do I check, likewise I want to check the loom and will measure the resistance at the injector connector , what reading should I see and across which pins do I measure please.
