  6. Hi does anybody know how to run a diagnostics check for faults on a twenty pin jap auto ASCD system pls, sympton is mine will light up as armed but will not engage from the control stalk, does the system rely on a signal of any type from the auto shifter area , as recently i notciced a small fork type piece of plastic broken in this area, are the two things related ?? thanks Sayers
  7. Steams , when you unplugged the correct connector on the PAS ECU did your Cruise Control stop engaging ?? or better still are there any diagnostics i can run to identify faults with the ASCD system and or ECU. Thanks Sayers 07929 159828
  8. Hi Bob, does your car have the AIV system fitted ? if so you will need to remove the associated pipework, you will also need to to chop of the cat temp sensor wires and blank them off, you also need to ensure that you have new gaskets , if you are stuck drop me a text . cheers sayers

  14. okay , my TT rear subframe and hicas was swapped out for an NA one, The hydraulics removed in the engine bay, just the grey connector left now as can be seen from the picky. I noticed my hicas light was perm on, Pc two shows the main ECU on top and the Hicas ECU beneath. I was advised to remove the connector to the right to resolve the hicas light , this worked , however my Cruise no longer functions, so , Is there just one wire I should cut on the second plug to turn the hicas light off but to leave my cc systems working . if so which one,? Or should I loop the grey connector shown in the engine bay to cheat the system, again if so which wires should I connect to each other Any thoughts drop me a line using 07929 159828 or message on here Many thankshttp://s1048.photobucket.com/user/sayersneil/library/?view=recent

  21. Hi all, my TT was converted to a NA rear diff, therefore the Hicas was removed, To stop the Hicas warning light being on constantly i unplugged the small connector block onto the power steering ECU( next to the main ECU). Now my cruise control wont work, im told that i only really need to snip one of the two wires on the connector block and then plug it back in, anybody know which one i need to cut ??
