Well, I suffered a breakdown in a new TT manual Zed I have purchased I was in Southampton. I contacted the AA as I am a member and they sent out a patrol to check the Zed out. He checked it, and found that the diff had gone, so I required a relay home. A AA mechanic/flatbed driver arrived, and the first thing he said is that he doesn't get many of these cars now, so I start telling him about them. He says I know I have one at home.....lol, so asking him if he was a member of any clubs/forums (I try and sell the club to any Zed owner), he said he is indeed a member of 300zx.co.uk, and his username on here is Pig!!! What a small world, anyway, Pig (Richard) is a fantastic bloke who couldn't do enough for a fellow member who was stranded, and I owe him a great deal when I next see him, hopefully at some meets this year. Thanks Richard it was very much appreciated, and a great laugh for as far as you could take us. Yvonne is so happy we met you too. Ian

Welcome to the club Al. As Gary has already said, plenty of help and advice on here, look out for the things Gary mentioned, and you shouldn't go far wrong. Whereabouts in Scotland are you? JaiKai (Lee) who looks after our site and keeps it looking this good is in Scotland, and will introduce himself when he sees this no doubt. Yeah please do get some pics up as soon as possible, it's the law on here.

I think that's a reasonable price to be honest, seems the prices are on the rise.

Yes it is getting broken for parts.

Possibly a pipe leaking, sometimes very difficult to see, have a good feel around all fuel pipes for traces of petrol.
