  1. If they are the adjustable type then you should have a "C" spanner to wind up your nuts????? Jokes aside, you should have a "C" spanner that you use to adjust the large nuts on the suspension leg, there will be 2 of them one is a locking nut, (thats normally the bottom one), you slacken that off first then you can wind UP the other nut to the desired ride height you want? Have fun
  2. Its not supprising they take forever to get here ?
  3. Good choice, just a little comment, change the front plate so it dont block the air flow, you need as much air as possible.. And Have fun.

  7. There is a very good engine builder/tuner near me in Dagenham that will grind up a set of cams for a very good price.
  8. try this link for JWT stuff. http://www.conceptzperformance.com/Cart/items.php?Car_Type=300&car_cat=Turbo&CA=19&UID=2006041701510280.7.166.237
  9. I have fitted kyb adjustables and i am very impressed with the ride, i have got the standard springs still fitted as i cant lower the car due to the very high speed bumps down the road i live in. Deffo recomend the KYB.
  10. Hi Danny, I think its best to remove the exhaust down pipe before you pull the engine out, then you can see if its a seized shaft or a broken turbine ?. It might even be the wastegate flap stuck open letting all the exhaust gas'es go straight out to the exhaust? Let me know if you are gonna do it the weekend m8, i will come and help,as i would like to see myself whats happend ?
  11. Make sure that you have the correct oil level in the gearbox, its very important, a lot of people get it wrong how to check the oil. make sure the gearbox has been run for at least 5mins and you have selected all the gears, (P, D, 1, 2, 3, AND R, then back to P ) And then with the car running check the oil level. http://www.300zx.co.uk/cgi-bin/manual.cgi?list=ma&dir=&config=&refresh=&direction=forward&scale=0&cycle=off&slide=23&design=default&total=33
  12. Well, after another 2 hrs tonight we still cant find the problem ? we have done a boostleak test tonight and its perfect not one little hisssss anywere and it holds the pressure? What i was wondering is, could it be the wastegates stuck open and not letting the turbines spin up ? Is there a diagram that shows you which way around the two pipes go onto the wastegate solonoid valve ? or even better a diagram that shows all the vacum pipe positions? What would happen if we bypassed the wastegate solonoid valve and just put the vacum pipe with no "T" straight on to the wastegate actuator, would it hold it open or shut ???? HELP
  13. All new silicon hoses fitted ?
  14. Right peeps, this is a very strange one, i spent 4 hrs yesterday with dani (cbr) putting wis car back to standard. The car is not producing 1LB of boost pressure what so ever, we have 2 guages checking boost and it runs just like a NA ? ( i had to keep looking to see if it had tubs ?? its that bad?). I have checked the whole car over and cant see a thing wrong with it, i have wired in the knock sensor resistor trick to eliminate that, i have checked the voltage to the wastegate solonid valves and all is fine, i have checked the wastegates are free and not stuck in the open position, the ECU is all clear and no faults, we have reset the ECU twice, and its still clear. When i dove the car i didnt even hear the tubs spinning up, i think the next step is to remove the exhaust down pipe from the back of the tubs and see if their is a compressor whell there? Anyone got any bright ideas b4 we go that far (will be doing a pressure test possibly tonight). The car ticks over good and the engine is as smooth as a sewing machine, and its spotless under the bonnet so the previous owner looked after it well? the car has a straight through exhaust system ?.. HELP
