I have only seen the type thats on my car, and all the other 99 fronts i have seen are the same, i have tried to get crystal clear indicators for mine but they don't make them as far as i know, i was thinking of drilling a hole in the indicators and fitting a side light bulb in them (led 501 type). Because i have uprated the bulb in the fog lights and the side light bulb keeps blowing because of the extra heat generated by the bigger wattage bulb....

The Answer to that on my car is NO, i have the side lights in the front fog lights, and the indicators are just indicators, there is no place in them for a 501 side light bulb? Have a look at my car below with the 99 spec front on.

First things first, do you know what year auto box you have, there is a slight difference to the main drive shaft inside regarding the amount of bearings and the oil channels. The series 1 box's have serious oil flow probs, and over heating probs. But you can get around this by fitting a series 2 main shaft and bearing assembley, (not cheap). Then the next prob will be the clutch plates, there are only a few places that you can get the slightly heavier duty ones. Then there's the T/converter, you can have a billet one made to your spec if you want (ie, nothing happens untill 4000 rpm, then it kicks in) they do this mod on the top drag cars. You can also play around with the hydraulic valve block and slightly raise the oil pressure to give you a more solid/positive gear change, (HKS done a thing called a ALC, automatic line controller). There is a box on the market called a level 10, a few guys in Holland have them and swear by them, do a google. Have fun, it has taken me 9 months to build mine to the way i want it.

I was talking to some one last night on MSN, and he has 600Bhp from a 2Ltr Honda Vtec, so if that can be done then 800 Bhp from a 3.0Ltr will be no trouble. It must be true co's he's an American, and he told me so. ???????????

HKS did something called an ALC (AUTOMATIC LINE CONTROLLER) they did 2 versions, IF (big IF) you can get one go for ver2, what it Basically does is alter the line pressure (hydraulic pressure) in the auto box to give you a more sharper crisper gear change. But i wouldn't recommend fitting one without doing a gearbox oil cooler upgrade first cos you will cook your gearbox.

If you want to keep it to a shopping centre (so you can drop the loved ones off to do some shopping ) why not make it LakeSide top floor car park ?
