  1. Anyone know whether this other pipe should be fitted or not? or if it doesn't matter
  2. Yes - The person who supplies Z-Centre sells them directly mate.
  3. So is this about right?
  4. Thanks very much for taking the time to reply Andrew. I just thought I might have a vac leak. So, looking at this picture, im assuming the other pipe there under the if piping should be connected to the throttle body. On mine, the throttle body nipple is plugged/blocked and the other pipe under under the ic isn't connected to anything. Is that a problem?
  5. I got a lend of a friends vacuum tester so thought I'd go round all the pipes etc and they all seem good (providing I'm doing it right) apart from one, so thought I'd ask. The tube goes from the back of the balance bar down to 2 tiny pipes under the passenge side intercooler pipes. I believe this to be the Carbon canister piping. So, I'm putting the vac tester/puller on the end that would normally fit to the balance bar, so I'm trying to suck from the carbon canister and it doesn't hold, just lets air go pretty quick. Does this mean there's a vac leak down there or should it hold?
  6. Looks like you've done a great job there ted. What did you use to polish it?
  7. I saw this donkeys ago. I'm sure there were a lot more pictures and it looked quite interesting. I'll have to look and see if I kept any of the pictures.
  8. I was just messing mate. I think a video on how to set up the suspension bits would be quite interesting
  9. Welcome to the club mate. That 240Z look fantastic.
  10. I've got a das6 pro. Only used it once like
  11. Looks like the place from '06. Been to to many
  12. In Japan I'm not too sure yet, possibly put it on my new blue zed at some point. Completely mate. Silly really. - - - Updated - - - Is the pas pot chromed or polished? Looks good mate
  13. Oh crap. Clearly.... I'm blind lol:cool2:
  14. Were there any 'plain' UK spec clocks? Like the jap ones with just the MPH around it and not the kph on the inside? Like these? Or are they just amended jap clocks? The reason I ask is that my UK clocks look a lot fuller with the kph on aswell.
  15. Got another Veilside one lol
  16. I bought another exhaust :-)
  17. I think the Chinese ones are pants to be honest, very bitty miss. In fact, I've bought a couple in the past as I was trying to bluetooth them. 1 worked, 1 didn't, another that came was actually for obd2 cars. Useless. For £35 more, I think the ecu talk cable is a better choice personally. I guess if you buy from ebay with paypal, you can get your £20 back if it doesn't work right
  18. I think the price has become stupid this year. Tbh, I thought last years increase was boarderline too much. Shame as I always make the effort to go but I'm not paying that much for it.
  19. This was the year of the big storm. My tent was swimming after I peeled it off that metal fence.
  20. For the most cost effective route, I'd say ecutalk program as its free! But you'll need to buy a cable for any program that you use. I'd personally say to stay away from the ebay cables, I believe they're very hit or miss. The ecu talk cable is apparently very good (I don't have one). I have the old blatz cable from when I bought datascan years ago and also the proper conzult one. And yes you'd need a laptop. Here is a link to the ecutalk download http://www.ecutalk.com/downloads/ECUTalk_v1.3.5.exe Here's the cable link http://www.ecutalk.com/interface.aspx Or Horsham developments in the UK http://h-dev.co.uk/?product=nistunediagnostic-cable
