Hi guys, Got a couple of what's this questions. Maintain cos I'm looking around the engine bay for no particular reason. So first, in the front pipes on the passenger side there are 3 hoses, 2 of them go up and along the side of the engine. The 3rd one is the thinnest of them and isn't connected to anything. Is this the pipe that would normally go to the plenum just under the throttle body as it looks like it's capped off there. I have had a plenum bypass done so am I right this pipe is fine to be left or should I block it off at the front of the car too? And I'm I right this is what the pipe is for? The 2nd picture shows the pipe over the fuse box. Next ones, what are these 2 connectors? Are they to do with the original turbos and boost? I have aftermarket greddy 16G's. I also have a boost controller fitted if that helps

Mate well done. Once sorted you should be a trader on here if you can be. I use to live it when we had pete from PPS. I think it's a brave move to go in to business by yourself and wish you the very best with it. I have to say I love the fact that part ofthe reasons for leaving your roles was the fact you see quality as being of utmost importance. That statement alone would attract business in my opinion. I thing big C mentioned about not taking on too many big jobs at once. I completely agree, just take on what you can handle and manage people expectations and i think you'll do well. I think if your in work, then ZedWorld isn't much further than durham. Kev used evotune up here and was very happy with him. I went to discuss mapping my car only and to be quite honest he said he couldn't do it. Wasn't a very talkative person either so the conversation was like getting blood out of a stone and overall was very disappointing for me. I would always recommend Phil Dickinson in Manchester for any mechanical work. But if you need things setting up etc then I'd suggest ZedWorld. Why not get breakdown cover (with recovery/relay). Head to ZedWorld and if it starts to overheat, pull over and get recovered to ZedWorld and save on petrol which probably be a similar cost as you paid or the breakdown.

The v reg must be from the date of import... So tell them they f**ked up there!!! I don't understand why you insurance company are bothered. You may be having trouble because you have a 94 car on a V plate though as your not allowed to make a car look newer than it is. That would ring alarm bells with me at work and I would potentially decline to cover due to something not being right so to speak. Otherwise if the car wasn't coming up from a dvla search we would just do a manual search for the car. I would suggest yet need to re-register it on the correct year plate.
