I'm worried how this new 'racing' charge is gonna be applied, driving the cars we do we regularly get harrassed by people who want to race. So the next time some M3 revs us at the lights or starts trying to goad us on a motorway, then any coppers that see it can do us for 'racing' (I'll bet we're the ones that get stopped as well).

Yeah, its a shame I can't find it but the guy who made the spec sheet for the phaeton had a list of near-impossible things that he reckoned the best car in the world should be able to do. Driving for hours near top speed in a desert with the air conditioning never faltering was one of them.

Yes there are some similarities, I seem to remember this guy flying of the handle and having a go at Luke when he saw the ZCentre bumper. I think his exact words were 'Looks like crap' (when talking about Luke's bumper). out of principle I wouldn't buy a bumper from this gobsh1te.

A1 car auctions is an importer at Southampton docks, I was just curious because it looked like a silver NA that I was going for a few months ago. I think that had some silvered windows too. Does your car have a cloth interior, a little seat bolster wear, manual gearbox and some wear on the (standard) gear shifter? (Also I remember the car I was looking at had about the equivalent of 60000 miles and under the bonnet it looked a little dusty but in otherwise amazing condition).

I think he was probably referring to bio-fuel thats mostly petrol, part alcohol. Because of the alcohol the petrol burns cooler so you can run more boost with less cooling. I've heard that if you converted a turbo to run on pure alcohol then you can do away with intercoolers completely, although when running alcohol you have to inject about twice as much as with petrol and most cars have lots of bits and gaskets that are attacked by alcohol.

Finding idle problems on the zed is a bit of a needle-haystack scenario (unless you have a conzult), dodgy idle can be anything from ECU temp sensor, air leak, IAAC valve, TPS, autobox oil or PTU. Both my zeds have similar idle probs to yours, best bet is as TMTP suggests- get it to a specialist they'll probably sort it out in minutes.

Yep, nothing rude at all I think its rude when you can't be bothered to read the rules of a forum, and then start to kick off because you didnt get some free advertising. By all means take your £20 and spend it on Autotrader, but I think you'll find that the amount they require for a weeks advertising costs a load more than an entire years worth on here, and when you advertise on here you wont get rung up 24/7 by tire kickers, timewasters, test pilots, chavs and those agencies who insist 'we can sell your car for you, honest'.
