painters and decorators advice
im sure there were some decorators on here before, im redoing charlies bedroom and the woodwork was new last time, undercoated and sanded 3 times to get a nice smooth finish for gloss, i used johnstones undercoat and liquid gloss, it really was like a mirror as im very ocd about paintwork and has to be perfect, it has had the usual yellowing but has worn quite well otherwise and is still a lot whiter than most other paints ive seen now ive been looking at paints and thinking of using johnstones aqua paint and undercoat but someone mentioned that its no good if the surfaces (woodwork) has already been painted in oil based undercoat and gloss does anyone know if this is true and had experience with it? google seems to bring up conflicting storys thanks in advance Allan

Anybody else notice ?
never thought of it at all, was just thinking about the poor guy that died, as for using a zed as a weapon i doubt the terrorist gave it any thought at all, was probably just a car that he had or obtained at the time of planning such a terrible act

Scottish independence and The United Kingdom
Gonna be a lot of drunk scotts today, not because the vote didnt go their way just the fact a lot of them are alcoholics lol But joking aside, william wallace fought for their freedom, there is nothing more free than the power to vote, it may or may not have ended the way you wanted but you got the free choice to vote and you must accept the fact that a majority of the scottish people wanted to stay as a union Good luck for the future

Scottish independence and The United Kingdom
thought we all lived on a tiny little island together to be honest, i dont give a flying fook if you's want to call yourselfs independant country or stay as we are now as long as it dont affect me, but from some comments ive read on various sites i do believe that some of the yes voters are hiding behind reasons like 'we dont like your government, we want the oil for ourselfs, we dont want the bedroom tax and so forth when the real reason is they simply dont like being called part of the united kingdom, they dont want to be associated with britain-england (whatever you want to call it) not saying all the yes voters are the same and i really hope you's have had an open mind when viewing all the options whilst considering your vote and not voting yes or no for the wrong reasons, i do wish everyone (both sides of the border) the best of luck in the future and will respect the decision of the vote either way good luck yes or no

- first cross country race of the season today (if anyone is interested) pics
first of the north east harrier league races today, goes all the way through the winter, did 1.8 miles as part of a relay team today, done it in 12:50, very hard work as i had a quite a few banks to run up (more like fookin everest lol) some of the very fast lads were doing it in 8-9 and 10 mins, even had a stream to jump across, was hard work but loved it think everyone should try and run in a group, get involved in running and racing, its awesome and will help you live longer lol - first cross country race of the season today (if anyone is interested) pics
