any one here with any experience of fitting one of these ?? are they worth it .... :confused: which ones to keep clear off as i have heard some of the quality can be a bit dubious ........my zed is red so im thinking of either japanese cherry or red and black carbon fibre weave ....open to suggestions guys and girls .....and i have already had the the suggestion to "Fek orff " so no need to bother :)) :rolleyes:

i just use a cassette adaptor with lead that plugs into the i pod ear phone socket and slots into the alpine casette player , that way i can have radio , my Mp3 / cd multi changer and if i want to the i pod as well ,as i dont listen to anything on cassette nowadays and the reproduction is great much better than the belkin thing i used to have .....and it s legal to operate if stopped by the boys in blue !! unlike the fm transmitters

sounds like the ecu has been programmed incorectly....dissconect the battery for an hour , reconnect and try again drive it like you stole it as the ecu will re learn your driving style ..good luck mate steve

sounds like the camber angle is too severe making the tyre lean intowards the car at the top which makes the tyre footprint ( contact area) be biased toward the inside edge ..have it checked out asap tyres for these things aint cheap as you know

in the real world when sometimes you need that bit of extra poke to get you out of a tight spot there is no car i would rather be in than my zed to pick up its skirts and hurl itself at the horizon from everyday driving speeds with absolutley no drama or fuss the mid range and top end grunt are what makes this car still so special today ...... when the guy in the boxter in your rear view mirror looks like he is going in reverse as you pull away smoothly from him at 80mph..remember he is trying very very VERY hard to keep up and is probably kicking himself that some 12 year old motor has just made him look like a complete pratt infront of his new girlfriend ( didnt it wayne :) ))

which resistor in the J spec speedo can be changed to make it read in MPH ?? does is also have the odometer reading in MPH or does that still click over in KPH?? does anyone have photos to show where / and how ?? sorry for hijacking the thread ,just never seen the resistor thing mentioned before and im fed up of forking out for convertor units every 6 months or so Steve

if you ignore the horrible colours the kit is quite well done and a lot of work has gone into it ...and with a wide wheel base like that especially if it is the 4x4 turbo ...i would say it would be a match for any sorted zed mine included round the twisty bits pity its still a vauxhall though .................

absolutely right . make a note of them and go back next year .. a proper test which is safer for you and every other road user is hard to find its too much like making easy money for some garages and they dont even bother to check the basics thats why there are so many killer cars and ringers still on the road
