Following on from the other horrifc car tax thread, we hear on the news that they plan to charge us 1.30 a mile for using the roads.

I know its unlikeley to happen as they'll never get all the cars fitted with a sat nav thing, it would cost far too much, althoug i cant imagine it would be to hard to disable.. however the fact that they are even thinking about it really really really really really pisses me right off.

I really have had enough of this place.. might give it a couple of years, then sell up and leave the country... what else can we do???

We had the chance to vote the *******s out but as Stuart (SRRAE) rightly said " millions of thick Northerners" voted them back in...

My Zed has been off the road for the last 3 months as tax has run out and its time to get the kit on (also got made redundant)

I have got a new job (with less pay) and needed a car to travel so I bought the fist 1.1 car I saw.

I now have to travel 55miles round trip! as opposed to walking.

they going to charge me £60 a day to get to work!

looks like I will be on the dole as I cannot afford that.

and dont forget that petrol will still cost although not as much.

if we bypass it we'll get the usual crap (your insurance is void ect,ect)

doupt it will come into effect but if thats there frame of mind then they shoud be booted out!

and now Mr Tony Blahs "newlabour" has managed to lay yet another branch line for the tax funded gravy train to run on for thousands of chavette baby factories to feed their ferral offspring most probably named Brad or Chantelle with endless supplies of iceland frozen pizzas and oven chips ....well done everybody that voted them in .......lessons learnt time i think !!

LOL so Darling Alister wants us to pay as we go, to lesson the congestion they created in the first place! What 8ollox! I say get rid of traffic calming schemes - humps chicanes etc, unnecessary traffic lights, bus lanes, stupid lowered speed limits, scp's, road works that last forever etc. and build more phookin roads.

Not much chance now this lot have been voted back in though! Funny it wasn't mentioned in their manifesto??

 

Ofcourse he'll know what speed you're doing too via the black box in your car, so those he cant tax off the road he'll have a good go with penalty points!

As has been said, I cant understand any car enthusiast voting Labour, perhaps they dont realise their freedoms will be lost. Then again they only got 36% of the vote.
