  1. OK - it always did it a little bit due to road camber - but I had all the wheels off over the weekend and now the car seems to pull a bit more than usual - thought it might be a sticky caliper and so have put some replacements on that are OK and this hasnt helped a lot - could the wear on the tyres be causing it and is it worth swapping them over to see if that causes it - it was only after I had them off the car I noticed it happen... Any ideas appreciated.

I get a bit of that and it gets worse the more the brake pads are worn down - have a look at them and see if they need changing... New pads and it doesnt do it at all and then towards the end of their life as the pad material gets a bit on the low side the creak starts to happen, and gets worse the more the pad wears down.
  3. Borrow somebody elses jacket/umbrella! Simple.
  4. What type of plane are we in? If I'm in Concorde and your in a Sopwith Camel then I can go anyway I want and still be faster........
  5. I dont think there will be any problems on the legal front - all the links have been 'guessed' at by everyone. Andy hasnt once mentioned any names. So it could be anyone really......
  6. http://www.300degree.com/hard_parts/brakebrace/ always heard about them but never seen them - can we get this over here - seems a dead simple design....
  7. And lots of stickers.
  8. BLOODY HELL! If you like your auto then enjoy it. If you like your manual then enjoy it. NOW SHUT THE HELL UP!
  9. There are also fuses inside the car - a little access panel to the right of the drivers accelerator pedal - check them out.
  10. Normally a hair dryer to warm it up - but it may also bring off the main part of the sticker - you may have to try chipping it off carefully and touching up the paint - or buy the whole new sticker from Nissan to replace it.....
  11. The plugs are the same - regardless of the country! Did u check the MAS connector and all the others?
  12. NGK Make them - you can easily get them from Nissan - although they are obviously a bit more expensive that way about £17 per plug....They NEED to be at least platinum - although some people swear by Iridium plugs by HKS or DENSO - you cant get them from Nissan though!!! Have you checked all the other stuff as well?
  13. It could be your security settings in the Tools / Options menu There are some scripting settings.
  14. The PTU only tends to be aproblem when its warm - when you start it up does it idle at around 1500 rpm? and then slowly drop back to around 700-800 rpm? If it doesnt it could be one of the cold start valves at the back of the engine - I cant remember its name off hand but someone on here will!
  15. Sorry - the plugs are PFR6B-11C
  16. If they have mucked about with your car it could be difficult to trace. Get a list of all the things they did/changed and start there. Garages will never admit they dont know anything about your car - they lose the business you see. Suspect everything they have done - its the only way - especially if it was fine before you gave it to them. Check all the electrical sensors still have the cable attatched. If they have done the plugs - as i see they have - suspect the spark plugs are either the wrong ones - not gapped properly - or when they changed the back 2 plugs they have to remove a balance bar - check all the pipes are back on and in the right places and also that when they put the balance bar back on they re-used the rubber 'O' rings to seal it back up and that they havent damaged any of them which is quite easy to do. I'd start there as its the most likely place they buggered it up. The correct plugs should be platinum NGK PF6B11C - anything else and they have lied to you. Not easily available from your local shop and cost about £17 each and you need 6 of them! Bunch of cowboys. - Good luck!

This was mentioned the other day - the leak in that case was a loose banjo nut that needed tightening up - check the pipes for any wetness
  18. Cant help u on the turbo bit. But as for racing an auto If u dont mind knackering up the box eventually - do this Stick it in 'D' Switch Overdrive off. Foot on brake pedal - bring rpms up till the cars trying to break free - Then dump accelerator and let brake off - Whoosh! I've never ever done that to mine and I dont recommend u do it either! But it will go like a rocket. All I ever do is Take overdrive off - leave in 'D' use left foot for brake pedal and rest foot on accelerator - then let the brake off and dump the accelertor and off ya go! Not much will start off the line as well as that!
  19. Bwahahahahahah! Thats fookin class!
  20. I think the 2500 rpm thing might be 'limp home' mode where the ECU knows its in trouble and gives default settings or something.
  21. Hey - DAVEW - I think we tie for oldies on here mate!
  22. They should do - I've bought 2 sets from them - the last one about 6 weeks ago!
  23. Have you got the latest XP drivers for it?
  24. Has anyone tried this? Hooking up the vac lines to a small amount of water to blast all the carbon out of the engine? Found a thread or two on TT.Net and it had me wondering!
