Leo! how do bro, hows it going??- Coilovers
As tom says the meister R's are good, i have them on mine too after fitting to toms car, although i have also fitted energy suspension polybushes which are notoriously firm and i still think its a firm enough ride to give positive feedback but smooth enough for a long journey.- update on my swb restoration
Welcome back, That is an epic list indeed. As for the 'done in a week' bit, Maybe if you had more than one pair of hands and every part you need is already with you. Dont want to miss the simple things when your in a hurry though. Really looking forward to some more pics of this!- Split rim refurb
I'd measure your barrel mounting points to see their distances from the inner and outer lip, as the thicker spokes will make the wheel sit further out from you car. If the barrel mounting distances are the same then the thicker spokes are put on the wheel with the lower offset and the thinner is put on the set with the higher offset.- My SWB Zed...
On the drive home the torque delivery is super high from low down, it pulls as fast as my clio 182 sport in 2nd as the zed does in 5th! (there maybe a placaebo here due to the large amounts of noise)- My SWB Zed...
Well After trying to align my schedules with noel and failing due to both our commiments and im soon to be leaving the country for some time i took a chance and went with a different tuner. Will Hinchcliffe of Race Dyno Tuning at Harworth Doncaster. First things first we did a compression test (which i was yet to have done) and revealed the following: 1-190 2-190 3-180 4-190 5-180 6-190 7-185 8-190 From there we found a fuel leak which was swiftly fixed with a helpful spectatre at the unit which ran me across to the neared hydraulics shop! (owe him a beer) The first run revealed 160 hp which was laughable. After some time of tuning and so on and enabling VTC The following pics shows the results. It Achieved 296lbft torque and 275 Rwhp And here is a video i managed to get between a few pulls (not the final tune) Will doesnt at the moment tune stock ecu's with the nistune software. But if you need another tuner because you cant get to noel he is a great guy, and such a geek!- Thinking of selling my swb
You have any ballpark figure to aim for as most people will instantly dissapoint you as no one wants to pay more than they have to.- Hi!
Thats is my explanation everytime someone asks me the difference between a zed and a supra!- My SWB Zed...

As stated at the start Steff speak to noel. He is the guy who will tell you the pros and cons power wise of what you need to do prior to remap. This remap will change your zedding experience.- water from expession bottle?
Yep yep agree! Who says right side when looking towards the front of the car ;)- A sad thread
I've met you a couple times Mandy and your great! I've had 2 family members be in the same situation on the edge of this. Don't give in, they both out lived the doctors predictions after being told terminal from a few weeks/months and made it years! The fight ain't over until it's over. As I said before it was great meeting you in person!- Rusty Turrets...
Yeah after I removed all the seam sealant on my car there was patches of surface rust under the sealant so even the cleanest of cars could have some surface rust ;) However im pretty sure the pass side turret isnt surface rust. It will need welding but its a simple welding job.- Rusty Turrets...
That left hand turret is a fairly easy repair as welding goes. the skin behind it will more than likely be untouched (mine was fairly bad). On the right hand side i had that also as the majority of what you see is seam sealer, a wire wheel attachment will prob shift that and you could seal it then put some seam sealant back in. The ones to watch are the sills...they are the nightmare.- water from expession bottle?
right hand side?? Is that not the windscreen washer tank? My washer bottle had a break in the neck which caused water to leak from it when giving it some beans.- 2014 work in progress
