  1. Give them a call. i think they do studs on their own.
  2. http://www.wheels.uk.com/acatalog/wheel-spacers-nissan-300zx.html
  3. well it would be good to see you on the 4th. Bobgenie is booked in for the session. im going with him to assist. Test n tune days get a fully prepped track but only a limited number of cars allowed so plenty of track time. Bob wants to get more practise at launching and is getting a line lock fitted, and Im keen to help him with tyre presures etc. I will probably take a pair of Mickey Ts along for him to try. Are you going to base your race on elapsed times or go "head to head" and first over the line wins??? a good reaction time might win you the day. Depends how good the V8 driver is.
  4. Any pearl will cost exactly the same as the Nissan white pearl as the process is the same.
  5. andy isherwood 13.7 at 104mph(moderate experience) chunk. 13.04 at 108.92. Mental/experienced 1/4 mile driver.
  6. Book yourself in to the Test n Tune day on Sep 4th. You need to learn how to get a quick quarter as a driver.
  7. Nowhere near!! production carried on for the jap market till 2000.
  8. A bit of Googling reveals some stock Vauxhaul times of 13.35 at 109mph. Can you better that in your "stockish" Z32???? Only time will tell. Cos as we all know when the flag drops the b.......t stops. IF you ever get to the Pod:huh:
  9. it will be fine for little jobs like wheels but will struggle to work on a bodyshell. 3.0hp 50 litre 14 cfm would be a minimum requirement. 100l tank would be better. IMO of course.
  10. And a very tidy job too!! even if you covered us in exhaust soot particles and drowned out all our conversation when you fired it up:rofl:
  11. That is one of the key ingredients to getting a successful club team together and working well on the day. If club members who are not going to use their car on the event(for whatever reason) came along to offer whatever skills they might have it will go a long way to making it a fun weekend for everyone. Drivers and helpers alike.
  12. And I was the other guy with Bob.:chef: we had a very busy weekend and it was a steep learning curve for a pair of first timers:crying: sorry to hear about your missed gear incident. Im sure Bob will be along to reply as well. We are already planning for next year. i will take a little part of the complement on the car as I had a hand in its conception and build. Fortunately I did not do the engine/turbo install cos we lost power/boost. The guy who is or maybe "was" responsible will already heard from Bob on the subject:scared:
  13. Pics..... 11 sec Sunbeam:scooter: 11 sec GTR:blink:
  14. LOL!!! That will be the RIPS engined car then!!!! They also did an RB30 engined 240Z.
  15. Bob was a bit disappointed with today as sometime late on Sat he suffered a huge power loss. probably a boost leak. Consequently the car was way off any proper times today. I have to say the car looks great, handles really well and stops when asked also. We just need to eliminate the final few gremlins lurking in the car. saturdays early results were VERY encouraging given that Bob had never done any of the three trials before. TOTB is now in its 10th year and as far as I know this was the first time a 300 took part. What is very evident tho from my first visit is the great atmosphere and friendly demeanor of almost all the competitors and organizers. We will be back next year . With Jaffa and maybe others.
  16. I might have gone with them IF they were there. Looks like the last owner removed them. LOL!! Anyway new combi and radiators coming soon:thumbup:
  17. 1992 I think.... Must have been a budget build:crying: Supposedly it had "storage heaters":confused1:
  18. Sad and neglected. all set to change soon tho. Dismal decking. Weeds everywhere. Fences falling down. Wrecky sheds in random locations. Kittchen gutted. Bathroom gutted... check out that colour Bedrooms and lounge just need painting. Horrible windows ... starting to rot No central heating (yet!!)
  19. LOL!! I know its a tight schedule and it may slip a little. The big advantage I have is that all these trades people have worked for me before. I have spent lots of money with them so I dont get fobbed off. They also know that I actively manage these things. IE Im on their case from day one. I will probably use a Wickes "on the shelf " kitchen to cut out "waiting" for items to be delivered. Its different to doing your own house. I dont care which kitchen I fit so long as its cheap, strong and in stock the day I buy it.. Same applies to all items. I only have whats in stock the day I need it. It does help.
  20. Work now begun.... Got the keys on Monday early afternoon. Got all the stinking carpets up(dog wee) Also the vile cheap laminate. Stripped out all the kitchen units(totally fcukd) Tiles off the wall. Had on site meeting today with local window company whom Im on good terms with. and ordered all new windows.. My plumber also was on site. I have commissioned him to fit cental heating (with combi boiler) also fit new bathroom suite and shower. He will also do the kitchen plumbing once I have put the new kitchen units in place. Rang my tiler and booked him for a week Monday to do tiling on kitchen floor before I do the units. Went to B+Q and bought floor tiles for him on a 4 for 3 deal PLUS my senior citizen Wed 10% discount. Bargain.:cool3: Also spotted a special offer on a gas hob and electic oven for £299(less 10%) so I bought that too. Rest of time has been spent making 4 trips to the tip!! Im off to work for next two days but will be back on the house job at the weekend. I will post up a couple of pics... Its pretty appalling:scared: Im aiming for an 8 week turnround on the job so ready to rent mid Sept:thumbup:
  21. Yep Im around!!! Got the keys on Monday so I will be VERY busy for the next two months:cool3:
  22. I am quite happy to give a general price guide on open forum. More details via PM if needed. Everything is above board with my appt. Managed by a local company in Los Boliches. All taxes and rates declared and paid in Spain . Prices vary a bit from April to Oct but a rough guide is £150 to £200 per week for the appt. no extras to pay. Sleeps four. 2 bedrooms. one with double and one with twin beds. Prices are geared to covering the annual cost of running the appt rather than making a commercial profit.. I know others on my complex who charge a lot more As previously said I have had this place since the mid 90s. Never really said much about it on here as I am not one for blowing my own trumpet.
  23.:no::no: Rob owned this car a while back... Went to a 350Z and now he has bought it back. :tt2:
