  1. I have no issue with that decision Groover. Its even handed as i would expect from you. Their whole attitude to sales in the UK just annoys me intensely.

  3. Errr probably not! It will be going in a container to China in pieces that are about 1ft long. Wards of Ilkeston is a major player in this area in collecting and processing steel scrap for sale to China. They have huge chopping machines which reduce everything to a uniform size. This is then loaded in to containers which a machine tilts on end for loading. A huge grab crane then loads the stuff till the container is 100%full. The doors are then shut and the container is lowered to its normal level for sending to the docks en route to China.

  5. well said Jeff. I know how hard you have tried to make this hapen. Given the situation as explained by you and by Groover I have to ask the questioon... why are we bothering to discuss (and by implication promote) these peoples business on this forum . In fact why as a club do we allow them to "advertize/announce" products commercially when they are not subscribed traders.????? If any company in this country tried it the posts would be deleted at once.
  6. it was in pretty good shape for a 94 UK car actually. I bought it cos I needed a set of front panels to repair another car. But it could have gone back on the road with a bit of effort. too late now!! The shell as pictured now belongs to the scrapman but I have kept most of the useable stuff from it. When I get time I will post a list up of whats available.
  7. we are already discussing a new leaner meaner spec.:thumbup1: However there is no spare time before TOTB to carry out any major revisions. It seems like only last week I put that interior in the car:blink:
  8. I have a place in Fuengirola on the Costa Del Sol. I rented it to a member last summer Depends when anyone wants to go. I have several bookings already but some space left too.
  9. Quick Update.... Sat 9th June. Bob is now in the 11s with a 11.97 run. No further details till I get to see the time slips. I wasnt there as I was at knockhill with Jaffa.
  10. Yep Its Jaffa/james car.. Im back home in Nottingham now. James isnt home to Brighton yet. I will let him update the thread when he is ready. But briefly we got a little practise in on sat but didnt run the car today due to some issues with the engine. I briefly saw BigC on Sat but we were a little busy/stressed at the moment he turned up. Apologies for not being able to chat
  11. I was the brief owner last week of .....10970 a Uk L reg car Sadly this week was not a good week for it:cry::cry:
  12. a pair of new adjustable ones is cheaper than one Nissan item. the fact that 90% of people never adjust them doesnt really matter.
  13. Yep . one size fits all.
  14. Glad you are happy with them and that they didnt get damaged on the way.
  15. i had.... this morning!¬ But then I removed them when I dropped the subframe using an angle grinder:blush:
  16. Currently only "Jaffa" on this forum is signed up for the Knockhill round of Time Attack. There is a thread elsewhere about the whole series and the results of two cars appearing at the first round at Cadwell Park. Normally I provide support for bobgenie and his car. However I have volounteered to assist Jaffa at Knockhill. So all being well James/Jaffa and myself will be at Knockhill for practice on the Sat and the event on Sunday. There are currently some issues with the car ATM but hopefully they willl be resolved in time. Any Scottish members are welcome to pop along and say hello. Just bear in mind there may be some times during the day when we are "busy" and wont have a lot of time to chat much.
  17. Mark you have copied a list from z Club with johnymd at 28. Instad of the list on here where I am 28!!!!!!
  18. Looks like your subs have run out as you are showing as a registered user only!
  19. If you do decide to go for genuine 99 spec lights then keep an eye on the classifieds over the holiday period.;)
  20. Just added myself for Sunday:thumbup1:
  21. I must admit to being well chuffed. My mate John who MOTd it did compliment me on the build . Emissions were spot on . Brake balance and stopping power were awesome. L to R balance was virtually perfect. I only had to adjust one headlamp for him during the test. I have now got it on my classic insurance policy. £206. declared as import. As soon as the cover note arrives I can get a tax disc.
  22. It has been sulking under a car cover for some time. LOL. Course I have done lots of other motors as well. Including bobgenies slicktop and a couple or three 240Zs:thumbup1: Stock engine with the usual bolt on goodies. Headers etc. Running the Emerald set up ECU. Remember mine was the test bed for JD to get the system Z32 compatable. The forged modified engine is sat under the bench. That will be the next phase. Im quite keen to see what power can be made "as is". I already have good data for the stock engine with bolt on stuff. It might be interesting to see if the Emerald offers any advantages over the old school fixed Nissan ECU. The whole project is still a bit rough round the edges. And im mega busy on "other stuff" So.... best get your out from under the dust sheet!!! Sounds like a plan. Just gimme a few days to get it taxed and do a couple of mapping runs. I have just ordered a AFR gauge that will plug directly in to the Wideband Lamda sensor.
  23. pity we dont have any E85 in the UK now.
  24. No you cant have it.:no: You MIGHT like my Paul Bailey custom side mounts tho that are coming off the other car.:thumbup1: They are hooooge:blink:
