i run an NA too! Launching against TTs is good fun really. I have beaten the odd one in the past with a mid 14s run. Im not sure if this motor I have now is that good. Or if the driver is?? Hence Im off to York on sunday for some practise:whistling:

Agree entirely Steve. Im just getting back in to it after a longish absense. Its not that important what time you do as long as its fun. Its gotta be done Mark. Its not like I can go for a cruise to MaccyDs and play some music:whistling:

JAP import paint code
i can never understanbd why anyone ever goes to Halfrauds. Just go to a local paint motror factor. they will make you up an aerosol or sell you 250/500/1L of the paint.

Fuel leaking near tank/filler
Snapping them little bolts that hold the filler to the tank will bring on a whole new level of pain. If Baz hasnt got a filler neck then I think I have.

300ZX Tailgate Lower Skin V1
yep.......................................http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?143553-The-Car-Mad-89spec-spoiler-review So... Remove old spoiler.............. Trial fit new one. Minor sanding maybe??? Paint new spoiler. buy cartridge of PU sealant Bond in place. Job done. I will refrain from finishing with "simples" and just put "straitforward." Its "simples" to me cos I do lots of stuff like this but it might not be "simples" to everyone.

300ZX Tailgate Lower Skin V1
IMO... IMO...IMO the cheapest solution is not always the best and that is certainly the case for this item. A better solution ............................ http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?158510-Spoilers Get the original 89 spec and that is the only bit which will need painting.

Free wheels! Who wants them?
If he left them outside the house without a price on them the pikeys would remove them very fast. Worth about £25 on a weigh in less tyres.!!

Who`s rolled their arches? pics please
You and your "look":whistling: For Bob, Jaffa and me its about the neccessity of fitting as wide a tyre as we can so we can go round tracks quickly without wrecking expensive trackday tyres. Its f****n dark now you will need to wait till the weekend for some pics:winkiss::winkiss: Remember we do "function over form"

Wheel refurb... 2nd set
I dont think so:hammer: I dont care wot u lot think:smartass: If I went on polls I wouldnt have anything left on my car that I like.:whistling: It would have gold wheels. 99 spec lights. targas. turbos. Be a "family" version. Have 3 tons of stereo fitted. cream leather everywhere. Led lights on everything etc etc:taz: LOl!!! There are already pics with the ultralites in Anthracite on the forum. They have got the new trackday tyres fitted. Its just a decision as to whether I have another set with normal road tyres. I also have my Mickey Ts on an extra pair of rears. Plus two other sets of 17"s. Maybe I need to sell some of them:sad:

Who`s rolled their arches? pics please
mine are rolled!!:cool3: its on the inside LOL! so nothing to see.:hammer: Its NOT a DIY job if you havent got some previous experience and "the Tool" isnt cheap. My buddy who has workshops on the same road as Santa Pod did mine. Jaffa on here has his rolled and stretched/flared. that is visible if you look closely. Bobgenie has his white slicky arches rolled but like mine you cant tell from the outside.

Wheel refurb... 2nd set
Its TOXIC.:nuke::nuke: If you can smell it you need to change filters or you will end up.. After christmas::winkiss: Anyway Im off to take the masking paper off now. I might leave some heat on overnight in the workshop to help the lacquer cure properly. I might return with another pic also..................:whistling:

Wheel refurb... 2nd set
Yes it is. I also have a very nice custom gunmetal gray that I have used on various items in the past. It was a toss up between the antracite and the gunmetal. So with several nice coats of 2K lacquer the result looks like this................................................. Difficult to photo under the strip lights in the garage. i will do some outside tomorro. It is very shiny tho.:cool3:

Wheel refurb... 2nd set
Good stuff. Just keep to stock boost and dont blow it up.:hammer:

Will suspension struts from a TT fit onto a SWB? plz
Daz if you are talking about the Meister Rs from Mr Isherwood then they will be a straight fit. And they are fabulous. Meister r developed a lower spring rate option specially for the SWB. It makes no odds if its TT or NA. They are a brilliant allround solution for SWB cars... And long overdue. i have them on mine:winkiss: other posters on this thread are referring to stock units i think. And probably UK and J spec have different rates. They are all in second place behind the Meister Rs. IMO.. IMO:closedeyes:
